Thanks ever so much
DOn't forget to ask for an easycash account, to be honest i would apply online as if you apply in the branch, they fill a form in and post it off, so am pretty sure you don't get a answer straight away. x0 -

I applied for a Halifax Easycash account online on Friday last week.
I've not received any form of E-Mail or post even acknowledging the application never mind a rejection of any kind.
I'm wondering if my application wasn't submitted properly on the server.
How long did it take for you to hear anything back from them?0 -

I don't think I received an email either.............I applied, kinda forgot and then just under a few weeks after i received my card and pin in the post. They didn't request ID or anything, just opened it straight away (which i thought was odd.)
They may send you a welcome pack etc (they didn't send me one) or just send your card out...........I wouldn't worry though, you should deffinitly get the account, it will just take up to a few week I think.0 -

Thanks for the quick reply.
Here's hoping I trip over a new card and pin on the doormat at some stage in the next month or so.
I was expecting them to send something to sign or perhaps a request for ID but seemingly they don't require these.
Have you found the Visa Electron card to be useful?0 -

Yeah.....brilliant as i had a lloyds tsb account before with no debit card facility, infact i could only take cash out at lloyds tsb machines.
I haven't come across anywhere that doesn't accept it yet. I think they just do a check to see if you are on a electoral roll or you live at that address etc as they didn't ask for anything from me.........i was really shocked just to receive a card in the post.
Hope you get yours soon0 -
