Unable to use my CashPlus Pre-paid card :(

    yip same here we have a card which we use for the bread milk ect ect so that the food budget is simple. just tried in tesco and was declined so i used my visa card and all was ok the visa card was from bank of scotland and the mastercard was the cashplus gold.

    So you'd think it's a "cashplus server" thing?... 9am sharp tomorrow morning i'm calling them!

  • Been snooping around Twitter and Facebook.. It seems that we are not alone in this problem today... Guess the end of the world did come today for some :)

    Which will be rejected as you've not followed the complaints procedure,
  • Cashplus card not working and cannot access my member’s area on their website. I have just checked and found payments that I made from my account last week have not been paid, despite having received emails saying the payments had been set up?
    Once again it seems that their cards are not working; once again they block access to my member’s area of their website; once again they cannot be bothered to put a simple message on their website explaining their problems. And I have no doubt there will be once again no apologies and a simple statement blaming some unspecified 3rd party!

    Direct contact number to back office 0845 351 0463...they will make transfers, check balances, verify situation.

    Obviously, you need to go thru security...but it is better than customer service...who take forever, and don't do as they say...call shouldn't cost as much.

    Which, could have been explained with a message on the home page of website

    Third time in less than a month, the website has been down.

    Hi.

    I have never had one of those cashplus prepaid cards.The only one I owned was the Neteller prepaid MasterCard for about a year and all I have ever had is problems with it (e,g: declined POS transactions, etc). The problem I kept running into is, where to use these prepaid cards and seems they are quite picky where you use them at. I think the most regular place I was using it was at Tesco and buying the occassional train fare home. I was only putting £20 on it each month.

    I closed the account in the end. Prepaid cards are in my opinion are a pain in the backside.
