Unable to use my CashPlus Pre-paid card :(

Still not working, around 3pm online statement were unavailable and I couldn't withdraw cash.


Now it is available but I can't withdraw cash ! I don't know because I reached my limited Yesterday around 6pm and I have to wait till 6pm (I need to withdraw more few grant on particular day so I need to pay in every day £500, so if it won't work Today I'm f****). I have business account with them.

Call centre is not working (after 4pm)...


How's with you guys ??? Is it withdrawing working for you ???

Nop it's not working, I got message about their difficulties.

At this point is stopped being funny, I used this company to keep £ xx k for my business, normally I'm doing everything by bank transfer/cc payment, but I need to pay for something bigger till next Friday, because their F**** difficulties my company will loose a lot of money (if it wont work till 11pm).

I already prepared complaint with request of losses (they can pay up to your balance (up to £50,000), so if you lost some money directly because you couldn't use your card prepare complaint and ask for your money !!!)


ALso I decided to open business account with normal bank and just send all money from MyCashPlus as they lost reliability in my eyes.

If you have difficulties with opening account just use Easy Cash from Bank Of Scotland, REAL bank, no overdraft, no charges !!!

I have been embarrased by my cashplus in three different shops today and had my weekend ruined by not being able to access any of the £2K I have in my account. I'm not entirely sure if it is the fault of Cashplus though, because I also have a Bread Card (also prepaid mastercard) with a couple of hundred quid on it for emergencies, and it won't work either. Possibly a problem with prepaid mastercards as a whole then.

So I managed to get out £100 on Saturday.
But now went to check my balance... again unavailible!

I have DD`s coming out aswell! Hopefully it should cover them as I have got money in the account!

Really winding me up!! Anyone know for sure what`s going on?

it seems all phone lines are blocked no way to contact them at moment except sms text for balance cant even access members area online

They've got some major problem with their systems at the moment. Something odd was happening as early as Friday as I had a direct debit taken out twice. The money was back in the account by the end of the day, but now (judging by an email I've just received) seems to have gone back out again!

Re the cashpoint problem. I've found that some cashpoints really don't like the Cashplus card. I can use it at a bank ATM no problem, but can't withdraw money from most garage ATMs or from my local Cooperative shop ATM although the card seems to work fine in store....

I am having the same problem, card declined in the supermarket on Saturday, used cash machine yesterday and it worked but cant get onto the site to check my balance today.
Really worried as I have my wages paid into this account. a
Would be nice if they could explain the problem properly on the log in screen.

Tried to get balance today, and guess what, same thing as ll you guys got. Balance Unavailable.
I have been using Card Plus since their inception, and have found them an excellent service for me.
I hope this is not a sign of bad times??

Very bad not to inform client ( customers) what is happening to their money or lack of, if you try to use one's account?

Going to send in a report to the FSA, just in case.
