Can anyone give me advice I am a BT customer and have a dial up service with v21
I want to move to a broadband package with a phone line and unlimited calls I currently pay £36.50 for my phone and £10 for my dial up I have no idea where to go to get cheaper.
Please help I am not very clued up on Broadband ect so please be gentle.0 -
Why change from V21 (I'm a fellow user)? Their 2MB (2GB capped) package is only £11.98 and if you have their FreeTalk calls package, they give you a further £2 discount ie only £9.98 per month.
See their website for further details www.v21.co.uk/v21/_files/pers_2mb.asp. Seems like a pretty good deal to me especially as you'll be able to keep your existing email address.0 -

Unlimited calls packages are rarely worth it.
I'd go for Just Dial Saver for example for calls, as they offer for no monthly fee, free evening and weekend calls, then use 18866 or 1899 for your daytime calls at 3 pence per call. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
Thanks everyone for the advice I will look into it and decide in the next week hopefully-Broadband here I come0

This is my first posting so I hope it is in the right place.0 -

You only have to read through some of these threads and you will get your answer. As far back as I can remember, users have been saying "Don't Touch Tiscali with a barge pole". Their Customer Cervice is the main reason but in general this is the usual cry as soon as anyone queries "are they any good" ?"0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0
