Any idea as to whether the interest will be available monthly or annually?

If this does come good, it will be on my list of options alongside Nationwide, the transfer is the sticky point as I don't recall Santander allowing you to transfer on their best ISA's this time last year (correct me if I'm wrong however).

    :)

I assume the satander fixed 2 year wont be able to put new money in after you open
  • My 2 year Santander ISA at 3.75% finished on 1 March. It's now paying 0.5% so I'm going to have to bite the bullet until 6 April before I can move it to a new deal. Hopefully this Santander 2 year, 4% offer will still be going.
    Cheers,
    Ray.

You don't need to wait until 6 April before you move it, if your fixed rate's finished (ie so you won't be penalised for early transfer etc) you can transfer it now.

At the moment with the fixed rate isa's you get 14 days to fund it with both cash and transfers in

At the moment they paid interest in march if it's an instant access isa and the fixed rates are annually on the 1st of the month following the annually anniversary.
Ie open on the 20th march interest is 1st April each year
  • Does anyone know if this would be for current Santander customers only?
  • Available for new money and transfers in.
