Sanatander 3.3% Easy Access ISA coming Monday

Just a heads up that Santander are launching a new ISA range from this Monday (5/3/12) with rates as follows:

Easy Access 3.3%
1 year fixed 3.5%
2 year fixed 4%

I kinda overheard their staff discussing it at the branch today

Hopefully this will kick off a bit more competition, rates have been disappointing so far. However still wouldn't put any of my money in Santander - too many bad stories.

can't confirm rates but there is more to the 2 year fix than just a headline rate

I won't be able to subscribe to it this year or transfer to it. I think they give 30 days to fund it (they did last year) so I guess I'll be opening it in a week or two if it's still around.

Would never have my current account with Santander but the past two years of new money access ISAs have been relatively pain free!
