sorryaboutmywife wrote: »I went to not-my-normal Ts the other day and I'm not sure what I think about what happened. It was 7.30pm, I asked the woman with the reducing gun if she was going to do any more, as the whoopsies were only about 40% off. "Not yet" she said. I when, she said about 9pm. So I said thanks, and wandered off for a look around the store, got a few bits including 13 cartons of juice. As I was queuing to pay, I could see the whoopsie section and all the staff (who seemed to be still working) were going to the reducing lady and picking what they wanted so she could reduce it further for them but she wasn't doing the whole lot, only what the staff brought her  . I finished paying and loaded my bits into the car, and as I checked my receipt I saw the SA had put 3 instead of 13 quantity on the juice, a saving of about £5 :j
I went back in, to see if the reducing lady was starting on the other stuff but nothing happening. I felt really cross at what I think happened, but as I got an accidental undercharge I kind of thought, swings and roundabouts. And the undercharge might not have been accidental, as I was very chatty with the SA that served me, she'd seemed so relieved to have some conversation with a normal person.
I don't know, I mean the staff should have the right to a whoopsie as much as the rest of us, but the reducing SA basically lied to me. Hmm. Hope I don't sound ungrateful.
I would be annoyed too, I know the staff get perks but that is a pet hate of mine and really pees me right off:eek:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Hi. Anyone know who brandie brown is on SSM?
The posts are really funny but I think one of the non - MSE SSM lot might take a pop at em
Hope my thumbs have helped a few of you.
Used 2 fairy coupons and 2 ladies coupons today to good effect. Found one of those penny candle lighters too just randomly placed on a strip!
How on earth are folk getting love2shop vouchers? I have only got £1 off this n that. I don't mind as every little helps but I would like to know if there's anything else I ought to be doing.
Cheers.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

A while ago I emailed Ben & Jerry's to complain about the lids on their tubs falling to pieces and they very nicely sent me a coupon for a free tub...:j
I spent it today on a tub of the new Karamel Sutra and even better, it was £3.00 and the coupon scanned through at £4.49!

Got trouted badly in N*eath A*bbey on the batteries. Saw sel b1g1f and asked a supervisor if it included AA and AAA which she replied yes its all the duracell in the large boxes at the front of the till area. (just to cover myself) so picked up 8 packs, paid and off I trot to CS. She tries to convince me that it was the tesco brand b1g2f and I had made a mistake, she then demands I show her where I had got them from (from this point I could see this was not going to go my way from her attitude) so I show her and there just so happens to be a manager standing there right where the batteries are and conversation goes just like this....
CSA to manager..this lady has bought a substantial amount of batteries but the offer has finished (shows the manager the yellow sel with offer on that I had shown her)
Me...I hardly think 8 packs is a substantial amount.
Manager....this is ridiculous, I told them to make sure all labels were taken down on friday. Turns to me angrily and says sorry offer has finished you cant have them at that price.
Me....I dont want them at that price now I can see you have overcharged me
Manager...well what do you want then?
Me....DTD as I have been overcharged
Manager...You shouldnt have bought them in the first place as the offer has finished
Me...But I asked a supervisor before I purchased them to confirm the offer was still running otherwise I would not have bought them, I can point her out to you if you wish
Manager...why did you ask a member of staff?, you might as well have asked a member of the public and got the same answer.
Me...so your saying if I need help with pricing in your store I should not ask a member of staff as they dont know what they are talking about?
Manager...yes thats what I said
Me ...well I think that you should be honouring your price promise as it was not my mistake but your stores mistake for charging me more than what was advertised, which is your policy.
Manager...you can have them at b1g1f and thats all im willing to do
Me...no thank you I will have a full refund, your name and head offices number please
He gives me a refund, his name and cs number, I then smile turn to him and say...Thank you, see you tomorrow after I have spoken to cs and they tell me to come back and get my dtd, oh and hopefully send you on a training course on company policy and how to speak to customers properly. His face was red with thunder but I felt a whole lot better for it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

When I was about 16 years old, I was babysitting for a couple who had gone out for the night when a daddy long legs flew into the living room. I used to be petrified of daddy long legs so I grabbed the two children and ran into the hall with them. I then rang the couple I was babysitting for and the husband had to drive 10 miles from the restaurant, catch the daddylonglegs and put it out of the window then drive back again. I don't think I was very popular but they did ask me to babysit again!0

I thought it was bad when I saw a local Aldi had lots of mouse traps and bait behind the floor level 2l bottles of fizzy drink. After walking past the door to the stockroom I could see bigger traps in there too!
It's only a game
