Oh no, Hope they did not destroy much.
I have heard scratching in our loft for the past 3 months, bought mouse traps (wishful thinking, rather than rat traps) I am way to scared to go up there and DH still cant be bothered to do it. Have many sentimental things up there and hoping they have not gnawed into any of it. The thought sends shivers down my spine. Really need to give DH a kick up the butt, think he is secretly scared too :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

If you have sentimental things up there stop putting it off rescue them very soon.

That fact that these things are so special will give you extra strength to go up there, whats worse seeing a rat or finding your things destroyed, the rat will be more scared of you & it may be nothing, our house is very old & creaks on its own from time to time & we hear funny noises from next door. Be strong & let us know when you've done it.

Many years ago I worked for a well known fast food chain. I phoned the area manager to tell him I'd found a mouse eating a chicken burger in the back corridor. His reply was "The cheeky thing couldn't it eat in the dining area like everyone else." Then hung up.:rotfl:

ETA I phoned pest control and EHO and sorted it out.

Our house is like lurgie central, have been to ill to make OH a birthday cake or even go to Ts to buy one. He's had to make do with a Jammy Dodger with a candle shoved in it.

Hope you are all better soon, that really made me chuckle

Sis has booked us in to a posh Spa resort ( think she's trying to tell me something) place and I feel right out of place with my Onslo gut hanging over the top of my jeans which are held up with baler twine.

Restaurant was closed so we got sent over to the main hotel and it was even more posh. We had an all you can eat buffet where I made good work on the normal food (would have preferred one of the waiters though) and Westie emptied the desert trolly!:rotfl:

    Could be anywhere
"C&A is an international chain of fashion retail clothing stores, with its European head offices in Vilvoorde (near Brussels), Belgium and Düsseldorf, Germany. It has fashion retail store branches in Austria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey and opening soon in Egypt and Serbia"

Ok I have now embarrassed my DH into doing it by knocking on a neighbours door and asking them if they can come over and go up and do it for me (I really am petrified) as you can imagine my DH was horrified when he saw his mate here :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
that will teach him ;) although saying that he is still sat in front of the TV.
