Alright you lot, if you're so clever our onward flight from AMS is too?

Mummy isn't allowed to take part as she knows the answer. If you haven't got the answer correct by the time we land in AMS I'll give you a clue.:)

My lip are sealed, not hard though cos I've forgotten where he's gone!!:o:o:o:o

That is so true, me and Czerchy were in the same store yesterday in the afternoon buying 1p choccies but we have'nt a clue who each are:cool:

4 stores done today and could not find a solitary 1p item. (still had fun trying though:D )

Did find those powerball finish thingy's from the good ole DTD days, im sure i remember them being £10 now £2.43:)http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=finish&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v1&_requestid=164889

Got trouted badly in N*eath A*bbey on the batteries. Saw sel b1g1f and asked a supervisor if it included AA and AAA which she replied yes its all the duracell in the large boxes at the front of the till area. (just to cover myself ;) ) so picked up 8 packs, paid and off I trot to CS. She tries to convince me that it was the tesco brand b1g2f and I had made a mistake, she then demands I show her where I had got them from (from this point I could see this was not going to go my way from her attitude) so I show her and there just so happens to be a manager standing there right where the batteries are and conversation goes just like this....

CSA to manager..this lady has bought a substantial amount of batteries but the offer has finished (shows the manager the yellow sel with offer on that I had shown her)
Me...I hardly think 8 packs is a substantial amount.
Manager....this is ridiculous, I told them to make sure all labels were taken down on friday. Turns to me angrily and says sorry offer has finished you cant have them at that price.
Me....I dont want them at that price now I can see you have overcharged me
Manager...well what do you want then?
Me....DTD as I have been overcharged
Manager...You shouldnt have bought them in the first place as the offer has finished
Me...But I asked a supervisor before I purchased them to confirm the offer was still running otherwise I would not have bought them, I can point her out to you if you wish
Manager...why did you ask a member of staff?, you might as well have asked a member of the public and got the same answer.
Me...so your saying if I need help with pricing in your store I should not ask a member of staff as they dont know what they are talking about?
    Manager...yes thats what I said
Me ...well I think that you should be honouring your price promise as it was not my mistake but your stores mistake for charging me more than what was advertised, which is your policy.
Manager...you can have them at b1g1f and thats all im willing to do
Me...no thank you I will have a full refund, your name and head offices number please

He gives me a refund, his name and cs number, I then smile turn to him and say...Thank you, see you tomorrow after I have spoken to cs and they tell me to come back and get my dtd, oh and hopefully send you on a training course on company policy and how to speak to customers properly. His face was red with thunder but I felt a whole lot better for it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I am usually a very quiet placid person, I dont know what came over me :D

If you've had them refunded you won't get your DTD now. You should have just walked away with them then contacted HO.

    I am completely :j today!

Just got 44 1p choc items in C4rd1ff W3$t£rn 4v£nu£ and it all went through the till!:j:j:j

I got 37 through the SS 1st , thankfully there were many unexpected items in bagging areas today as it was busy.

Then I went back and got 7 more with my other shopping and lovely SA didn't even notice. So if you are down there they have Galaxy promises caramel and truffle sel says £3, big purple bars sel says 65p and I have hidden one box of red Baileys truffles in the Easter aisle on the top shelf for anyone who enjoys a treasure hunt! I expect they are still there as the sel says £4.00:eek:

Something new to report- while at the SS till I heard an automated voice thingy from another SS till (Praise the Lord it wasn't mine) that said something along the lines of "Please wait while we check your bags":eek::eek:

I can't remember what it was exactly as I was far too busy scanning efficiently and looking normal:D but I'm sure it was pointing to the fact the someone may have been doing an AWT...:eek::eek: Nooo!!

    Well done, lovely haul:T:T:T:T:T

Happys on holiday so Lala's eating Thorntons, eaten so many might need Happys sofa for a lie down !!!

Thank you Snap Ant. Waited an hour to see the Doctor by which time I was a nervous wreck. He said that he needed to take my temperature so I opened my mouth but he stuffed this thing in my ear. I felt an idiot! Anyway, he has given me a course of antibiotics.

    Too blinkin right!! :j:j:j

When I went on a course with work last year, it was a buffet and I wasn't overly impressed with the savoury selection so after a bowl of chips I helped myself to every dessert on offer...maybe 7?! They all thought I was mad, though I never professed to be normal;):rotfl::rotfl:

Should I reveal all or should I post another clue tomorrow??

2 minutes out of the airport and there was a bloomin Tesco! and C&A and Aldi!

Sis has booked us in to a posh Spa resort ( think she's trying to tell me something) place and I feel right out of place with my Onslo gut hanging over the top of my jeans which are held up with baler twine.

Restaurant was closed so we got sent over to the main hotel and it was even more posh. We had an all you can eat buffet where I made good work on the normal food (would have preferred one of the waiters though) and Westie emptied the desert trolly!:rotfl:
