cmd+shift+4 which will bring up a crosshairs. Position it where you want to start the screenshot, click with one finger and then drag over the area you want to capture. Let go and if you've got your volume turned up you will hear a sound like a camera taking a pic. The pic should then be on your desktop.

To capture the whole screen it's cmd+shift+3.

Hi everyone. managed to find the 1p thorntons christmas chocs today. Bought few to give to playgroup staff, left behind nearly a shelf full. all have a good shelf life too, mine range from end june to end august.

Interesting conversation I had with Consumer Direct recently- the advisor informed me that the price marked on the shelf is just a guide as to what price the item MIGHT be, the actual price is the price you pay at the till.
I was surprised- doesn't this effectively mean there is no way for the average customer to know the price of an item before they buy it??

Did a law module as part of my accountancy degree and from this learnt that the price on shelf is just an advert (invitation to treat), no store has to sell you anything at that price. The contract on sale is when they tell you the amount on the till and you accept by paying.

Fudge2 I really feel for you the stress of this is terrible.
I don't see how only staff would know a product was reduced is an answer. If the product is accessible for customers to buy then anyone who bought it would know, if it's out on the shop floor then anyone could pick it up. That's not insider trading. Surely insider trading (in this instance) would be employee passing items out of the stock room to a customer not the customer picking items up from a display in the shop. If I have an issue with a customer at work I ring HO and log the details with them, then contact the customer, T's never do. The lack of communication is unbelievable.
I hope it's all sorted asap for you.

Evening guys ......... and once again, thanks for all the wonderful words of support we have had on this thread and on my DFW Diary, with special mention to MyMerryWidow who has been pm'ing me with lots of useful info, and JayJay and MandyLou posting from exprerience too on my Diary, and others who have pm'd with support and advice. It all goes to prove that MSE'ers are a font of useful info and there's always someone to advise or comfort whatever happens - that MSE Community Spirit is alive and well :T :T

Anyway, Mr 3Dogs had a lovely night's sleep in our own bed, the best he has had for ages, only getting up once for a wee, and straight back to sleep. We both got up at 9 am and had toast for breakfast. The District Nurse came just before noon and changed his dressings, plus put a new drainage bag on the abcess drain. She had lots of forms to fill in, and left the folder for future visits. She said she'd be back on Monday instead of daily, to give us time to ourselves to settle back at home, but if needed she will come in before then. The Stoma Nurse also phoned but we missed her call so she left a message to say Wednesday was her visiting day, so she'd be here next Wednesday, but to ring her in the office tomorrow if he needed more bags to last him till then. I counted them last night and there's 7 left so I think we need more to be on safe side if he has trouble fitting them again

I was almost dropping up to sleep after the nurse had been so had a 2 hour nap, with Mr 3Dogs just relaxing watching the tv, and then he had a nap while I made tea - he fancied chips with something so I did S/World chips with a couple of Pork & Apple sausages each and he ate it all, and enjoyed them :D

A close friend came round to visit for an hour after tea and it was lovely to chat to him :D We are now watching footie on the telly :D
    :( Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12 :( 3Dogs'Mam 31-3-13 :(
