Good Afternoon Elite
I have had a reasonably good day today. Found 13 boxes of Thorntons Spirits & DTD on 4 more packs of batteries.
A few weeks ago I bought some of those Mug Easter Eggs that we were all getting DTD on. When I got home I checked my receipt again (as you do) & I'd been charged for a Yorkie bar that I hadn't purchased. Anyhow, it turned out that one of the bars inside of the Egg box had scanned as well! I sent off an email to Mr. Clarke who then said Nestle would be contacting me which they did. They had investigated my claim apologised & sent me a case of 36 Yorkie bars which I received today.:D:D Have decided to raffle them at my neices school fete in June to raise money for Help the Children which my Sis is a local member. Myself & my sister have many items we have either got free or really cheap via this forum which we can add to make a good stall & hope to raise lots of dosh!!:T:T
My concerns were that other customers across the country could have the same thing happen to them but not noticed. Their response was that they had been to store checked others & as they have not had any other complaints that I was unlucky that the bar had been incorrectly packed to reveal the bar code. So check your receipts peops0 -
Fudge :A, as others have said I wouldn't worry too much, its just the usual intimidation from a low life manager.. A lifetime ban in T's means nothing even if they followed it through which they wont..... The manager is probably trying to save his own skin by blaming you when he should have removed the stock from sale... That will backfire on him now as youve complained to HO.
As for the insider information, what utter tosh... So no one on the planet is allowed to discuss any type of deal at tescos..
The police wont do anything even if they do get involved.. what have you done... bought goods, paid for the goods, have a receipt to prove that
Stay away from the store in question for now, once HO have sorted it all out (which they will). Once its all sorted how's about you take a gift in for the store manager to show there's now hard feelings.. maybe a box of chocs...Who's the more foolish: the fool, or the fool who follows him?OBI-WAN KENOBI:beer: :A :beer:0 -

Ah well....nice to have the £1 coupons anyway
for anyone in wooooster,, got a few of the £1 dressing downs ( only s/m left) in St P.s but no chocs there or in the don. Hope that helps
Will check my vouchers later, any news on the vouchers that were marked as redeemed?
I must seem like a lurker at the moment, my mum had a relapse in hospital saturday and has been semi conscious since, slight up turn today so able to come out of hospital for a bit and am cheering myself up by a visit to me t.0 -
I really hope you can read this clip my mum cut out for me from a newspaper this week. She asked if any of Martin's friends were called Vera :rotfl:. BTW my mum is 80 in June and thought this was really funny :T:T.0

CS cannot force a branch to release proof??? It beggars belief...If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -

Dont get upset over it, its one persons ludicrous actions. You have a right to be angry, but have faith that they will sort it out before making your next move. Slowly slowly catch a monkey!
Its such a shame you havent got the conversation recorded because i think they will say you miss understood etc etc.0 -

OO Hilarious - just put in a womble that had JD & coke on it too:rotfl:
(Happy - How do you do these images of your receipts? Too clever!)
