Interesting conversation I had with Consumer Direct recently- the advisor informed me that the price marked on the shelf is just a guide as to what price the item MIGHT be, the actual price is the price you pay at the till.
I was surprised- doesn't this effectively mean there is no way for the average customer to know the price of an item before they buy it??0 -
Oh fudge2 omg!!
And I finally found out what happened with those cans of coke yesterday!
Well apparently this metro had old stock to get rid of so they reduced the price of their 8 packs of coke and diet coke to £1.62 yesterday but what they didn't realise was they had new stock in for the new Bogof promotion and that was put out too in a big display at the front of the store.
Well they didn't realise that Bogof had kicked in and tills were programmed to reduce price so they were nearly cleaned out of all the cans as luck customers made the most of the reduction and Bogof offer!
I was told that as soon as they did realise all stock was then removed from the shop floor. I asked if its now fixed and can I have some cans on Bogof and she said no sorry it has been fixed now but we have no stock until the delivery?!
I joked how come I thought you said you took them off the shop floor and she smiled and said they did, I asked where the stock was now and she smiled, ohh I said staff made the most of the error too did they? And she smiled and nodded. LolHello my name is nahteb20 and i am a T's Glitch & Bargainaholic.......0 -

In Ayrshire there are cameras that flashes every car and works out the time it takes to get to each camera after that and they work on time, not speed.
Not quite right matess
Time taken to cover set distance, divided by distance give average mph, hence the white road markings just after you go past a yellow speed camera, the white lines measure your speed to 99% accuracy.
So if you did 30mph over the 1st mile then 70 for the 2nd mile you should average 50 mph
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

Loss prevention is massive, think this got started with HMV in Oxford St, the lost huge amounts due to shop lifting, so instead of employing loads of security they employed a system that recognizes known shop lifters.
If you were Mr T what would you do ?
I would improve communication systems and ensure staff are doing their jobs - not ban customers from shopping0
