Call me a cynic, but I get amused when the first post of someone is a negative.....
Your a cynic"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

I posted because according to the T&Cs they won't cover my 3-litre car...thought it might be worth pointing it out to others who didn't notice the limitation...0

Second Year with Autoaid.....premium increase by a whole £1 to 37 quid (shock horror!)...compared with £135 for the AA, £68 fo Green Flag, and £120 for the RAC (Similar service..ie spouse, home start etc). It is a no-brainer...reliable, and quick to pay up. Highly recommended.0

This looks like an excellent value-for-money service which I was considering buying. However, I don't think I'll be covered. After looking at the policy terms and conditions, General conditions clause 7 on page 6 states...
You must carry a roadworthy spare tyre with your
vehicle at all times.
My car (Mk2 Fiat Bravo) wasn't supplied with a spare tyre from the factory. Instead I was supplied with a cylinder of gunk that you use to inflate your puncture with. I know that an increasing number of car manufacturers are doing this instead of the traditional space-saver wheel. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?0 -

Give them a ring, chances are that there are others in the same boat for which they have made an exception if not it will bring it to their attention that they could be losing business and may well agree to adjust the policy to suit. The policy document was probably drafted up a few years ago before it was common place to have the sort of instant repair solution you have. If they agree to the exception make sure the policy document is adjusted or has an addendum detailing the exception.
Failing that you could always obtain a spare from ebay or a breaker providing carrying one around in your boot is not too inconvenient.{Signature removed by Forum Team - if you are not sure why we have removed your signature please contact the Forum Team}

My OHs old car was exactly the same but confirmed with them that it would still be covered. Never had to try it out though but give them a call or even better a mail to get it in writing
