    Got the last ps2 from currys for £49.97 in Hudds mmmwwwaaahhhh evil laugh and grin - the buzz game was missing though so to the doubters the offer does exist

    I know this is a little off the thread but i suspect game will have some second hand cheap ps2 after march as they are offering £50 trade in on slimeline ps2 to those buying the ps3.

    Sorry i cant help on the £50 ps2 hunt

    From what I hear it was a revenge thing towards Sony.. With the PS3 due out soon, Asda wanted to gear up for selling it, but Sony wouldnt tell them how many they'd get and wouldn't let Asda take pre-orders so Asda had a tantrum and sold off their PS2's so cheaply to wind up Sony.

    Dont think people need to worry about preorder allocations, as all stores ive seen online and retail are still guaranteeing for launch which really does make you wonder how many are actually been purchased?!

    can't help but feel the price of ps2 remain the same but will be offered with more games etc. there is a huge step in price between ps2 and ps3
    Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D
