No, I asked family, friends, family friends... anyone really! For most people it was either too far, or they couldn't get time off. I was about to post it on the MSE boards to see if anyone could make use of it but one of the stickies says it wouldn't be allowed, even though no personal information would be needed on either side. I have no idea if it's still valid now, since they didn't email back.

Well, it's been about a year now since I started comping (started about two months before signing up here), and... one win. In all that time. And it was the one above, that I couldn't claim

I went thru a dry spell for a while and it became a chore so I gave up comping for 6 months and when I came back to it I changed my e-mail address and I won something on twitter the day after, it was only something small but I took that as a sign that I should be comping again and haven't looked back since. I get 99% of my wins from facebook so yes not being on there you are missing out considerably.

I read somehwere that for every win you need to enter between 500 & 3000 competitions

trust me the more you enter, the more you will win! If you're worried about being a boy either enter a lot of blogs and play on this or just use an initital and not your full name e.g 'm smith' instead of Martin, or Martina Smith

i hate the way that people on here insist they only enter about 50 a day...it's just not possible to win a lot on that! :rotfl:

I do only enter around 50 a day, if that some days and i can say that when i have won i have won prizes that i very much want, i just enter by the end date once the kids are in bed and it seems to work fine for me. So it is possible to get the wins and alot on that.

I have entered a total of 3952 comps (yes I keep track on a spreadsheet) since I started in April 2012 and have won 14 (7 of those in August alone). I started off only entering a few as I couldnt find them, then found MSE in June and now I enter about 30-40 dailies and a further 70 or so new comps a day. I really wonder what people actually enter for if they enter over 200 a day every day. There are more comps that I dont enter than I do, but that's because there are more comps where I really dont want the prize. Ive never won on Facebook or Twitter, but do enter those I see.

It must just be chance because I starting comping in April this year and have won about 3 prizes a month. Guess I must be lucky but long may it continue. I only enter ones I actually want to win and enter maybe 50 a day and more on a weekend but 90% of my wins have been on FB

So far all of my wins have been on either facebook or twitter.

And even though I've been informed I've won some nice items (like the iPad 2 and an XFX goody bag worth up to £500) I am STILL waiting on them. As far as I know the iPad 2 hasn't even been ordered yet (won it about 3 weeks ago now) and Dabs.com is waiting on the graphics card for the goody bag that was supposed to be delivered last week.

Kind of frustrating to constantly wait to hear about receiving the prize from a supposed win.
