It's easy to become disheartened with comps like the Facebook ones. Mainly because when I go to the 'Winners Circle' group, I sometimes notice the same person winning over and over again! Up until the past couple of days I've been entering hundreds of comps a day with no avail (I'm keeping my hopes up for a prize to turn up on my doorstep), and I can feel the enthusiasm and excitement about comping slowly starting to drift away whilst I rock back and forth in my chair
What's worse is I'm also trying to look for full-time graduate jobs, which combined with the comping means I lead a very stressful life at the moment! There are so many things I need that I can't afford, and I guess I'll just have to keep on trucking2016 Wishlist:PS4, Holiday, Books!0 -
I do 4-6 hours of comping a day
Most of the dailies, weeklies and monthlies
Some postal comps
My wins seemed to dry up from mid February!!
All this effort and it feels like its for nothing, I thought a break whilst on honeymoon would help my luck! :-(No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
I can't remember last time I won anything and as previous posters have said I can feel my hope and strength slipping away , bit by bit .............Thoughts become things0

I feel a bit the same lately, still not won anything. It feels really unfair, to think that some people are just luckier than others and I'm clearly not lucky at all, and can't do anything about it.
It's not like there are good things going on in other parts of my life to make up for it either. Honestly it's getting a little difficult to read about and be happy for other people winning because it's never my turn. I get told that a win "is just around the corner" etc, but that's been said for months now.
Just complaining in my own thread again! Guess I'm in a low mood. Though would you say I have grounds to after so long without winning a single thing?0 -
Please, please don't give up hope, this morning I felt exactly the same as you and actually thought about having a break - then this afternoon out of the blue I got a phone call to tell me I had won an Ipad 2 - to say I was stunned was an understatement! I havent won hardly anything this year apart from the odd lipstick/blusher so it's a fantastic win for me. The comping fairy definately comes to those who wait so be patient and it will happen0

I have been feeling the same, every time I go onto the I've won part I feel gutted, and yes I am being self pitying
Especially when I read what people have won and know I have enter those comps its like.... really ?!?!
Fingers crossed but you can't keep your chin up all the time, so be rejoiced that you aren't the only one feeling like that and feeling that everyone else seems luckier than you
And sometimes when reading the bottom of peoples statuses makes me want to claw my eyes out when I read 3 Ipads in one month....
or is that just me ?
Someone give the comping fairy a kick up the .... for meThoughts become things0 -

But I haven't ever won anything, and I've been waiting since last August! That's what I mean, it just does not seem to be happening for me at all.0 -
It will happen, its just a little trough you are going through and I am sure that your peak isn't too far away I know how easy it is to lose sight but it will happen - my motto is from the bloke in the Adam Sandler films - "You can do it!!!!"0

When I saw your thread had been updated I really hoped you had finally won something! I really feel for you as it does feel really unfair that you've won nothing, and it must be so frustrating.
The law of averages means that eventually you will win, and you certainly deserve it for your tenacity! Do you even enter comps for little things? I won a biro yesterday, which isn't exactly groundbreaking but it was incredibly exciting seeing my twitter name mentioned after about 7 weeks of no wins and it was lovely to get post that wasn't bills this morning.
Hopefully you have at least made some friends on here to make up for it. I'm tempted to create a competition and only tell you about it so you can finally win!
Sending lots of good luck your way!Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%

Awww Pechow, I so know how you are feeling.. and Jakey.Pato you made me laugh as I have also closed my eyes through fear that they may burn out with envy when reading what everyone appears to be winning. Its not that I don't like reading the good news of others, I just really want a winning phone call or WEM or anything really... except all the Losing emails Im currently getting!
But for now I will take heart that there are lots of us feeling the same way.
