Hi guys, I have returned to this thread with one of those 'light at the end of the tunnel' stories.

After doing many comps for a couple of years, I entered one of those blog comps a few months ago and won (though unfortunately couldn't accept due to circumstances), and then I decided to do a niche competition to win a book on Asian cinema, and randomly had the book sent to me three weeks later!

I am hereby living proof that sometimes you do have to work your butt off to get a decent win, and whilst it does make you despondent seeing people getting win after win of comps that 1000's of people enter, it still shows that doing more comps increases your chances.

So I say, do more blog comps! Less people enter, which naturally increases your chances of winning. I wasn't even informed of my win, so you might have something turn up randomly in the post too!

I would say I have been working my butt off, not to the extent of the "professional" compers of course but easily 60+ a day on here (never counted), don't know how many if you add FB... this pretty much every day since last August with a small break in there somewhere-so how many more?

I'd say I'm proof that sometimes the numbers just aren't in a person's favour, no matter how many they enter

i've won a few things this year,dvd's,books & things like that,it's just a case of patients & luck to be honest.
last year i won an iphone 4s,it made me realise that big prizes DO exist & YOU can win them.
my brother has not won anything this year what so ever,he's still comping because he knows something will come up sometime

I really hope that you get a win sometime soon. Hate to see a person so down about something that should be fun I really do hope that you get a win very soon. Fingers crossed for you. Why don't you try and do the twitter comps.All you have to do is usually is click follow and then repost. Good luck to you and let's hope that a good win is on it's way to you.

Hi Pechow, I,ve been following your thread really hoping you get a win. I agree with you some people are just luckier than others and like yourself I am one of the unlucky people in life. But I will keep going in hope that will change and I really hope yours will to.
Are you doing the pepsi max hourly comp at the moment? its horrible getting so many lems a day but still inspiring reading how many people have won on here.

Thought I'd replied to this, oops. Yup am doing the Pepsi Max comp, no luck yet of course. I've half a mind to hide signatures lately (no idea if possible), so I can't get jealous and pretend everyone else is in the same boat

So many things that would be nice to win... think aside from cash or ITV comps, a phone for the BF would be nice, something for my parents like kitchen supplies or a Kindle, and computer/gaming/art supplies for me, including the fabled iPad! Who doesn't want that

Think my most obscure wishlist items are a fishing rod, and art supplies... too expensive to get myself anymore
