No comp wins this month, a new name change in the middle of the month hasn't brought me any luck booooooNo you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
At least you both have won things, and nice things too going by your signatures.0

Well, today I found out I came a runner-up in something-there's no prize for it, just a sense of "you were thiiiis close, oh well", argh! I think I'd rather have not known, lol.
Oh, that's pants.
I won runner up in a Saab comp and now every time I Google my name I come up as one of the fabulous winners - my prize was a kids 'activity pack' which was a couple of pages of wordsearches etc, the kind you'd get to entertain the kids while you're waiting for your meal to arrive.0 -
Don't be too down.
In March I won a Lush hamper & some concert tickets.I posted a few comps as well though :-)
Just enjoy & hope.0 -
I have been very much down on my luck. Until I won an Ipad on Radioguide. I made a jingle with suggestions on how to improve their site. It was totally rubbish but they liked it.0

Don't be so modest! 'a few comps' - LOADS more like and very much appreciated, I've won quite a few of yours, thanks v much
OK so...
I win a lot of competitions and I do not cheat. I use my genuine FB account, Twitter account, two email accounts (some comps require Google and I prefer using Yahoo).
I enter all the dailies I like the look of (about 100)
I enter all the competitions I like the look of (about 100 -150 per day)
I only enter once (if it's in the rules), I never use fake names for myself but if I want a prize for my friend's kids then I use my dog's name and age as I don't want to exploit the real kid's names who I would love to win for.
I use Roboform and it does help a lot.
I never do the 'like and share' as it annoys my fb friends!
I tend to win on fb, twitter and the daily comps, occasionally magazine wins but never or rarely on independent sweepstake or join our mailing list type comps. Sometimes I make an effort if the comp is enjoyable but I do agree there are cheats and don't like entering anything with a 'highest score wins' game.
I spend around 4-6 hours a day entering comps.
I believe that it is a numbers game and I also believe in positive thinking.
I do sell some stuff on Ebay but it is usually runners up prizes or I don't like the prize when it turns up. I also give loads of stuff away. My hobby has allowed me to buy things and enjoy more of the things I couldn't afford before.
I love the thrill of winning more than anything, it is a hobby (I work part time for personal reasons)
I love comping and most people on this forum are lovely, lovely people.
Thanks for reading and Good Luck!!!

I've only had tiny wins this month - a weeks supply of probiotic chocolate, some anti-shine sheets (whatever they are) and some toothpaste , but i put that down to having a problem with the internet for nearly 2 weeks in feb & not entering as many comps as I have in the past - still waiting for that biggie thoughproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

I have had a real slow start to this year, was only really doing dailies! Then yesterday I got a call saying I had won an All inclusive holiday to Egypt. (for me this is better than a lottery win lol) so keep your chin up. Comping bug is well and truely back lol0

How frustrating that must be, "fabulous prize" :rotfl:Did the kid/s like it at least?Don't be too down.

Enjoy what? And only a few comps?? :rotfl: I've only ever managed to find and post one competition so far, MSEers are difficult to beat when it comes to that! Saves the rest of us lots of time though so definitely no complaintskatiebeastie wrote: »I have been very much down on my luck. Until I won an Ipad on Radioguide.
