  • Took list to shop. Only bought the essential items on the list. Baked this afternoon for the kids lunch boxes, saves on the Penguins/KitKats! :D

Fantastic news on the weekend people!

Mine too was a total no spend apart from spending BF's money :)

It's moving time for me so if I'm not around very much, it means I've been eaten by a cardboard box!!!!
Good Luck everyone, I'll see you on the other side :)

  • Good luck with your move CACFGIRL - rather you than me!!! Look forward to hearing from you soon, but the question is will it be from 'inside the box or outside the box' :rotfl: :rotfl:
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:

    Hey all!
Wont be leaving the house today. Finally managed to clear out of my room and painted it all white. Now for it to dry so the new colour can go on it!

  • Arghhhhhhh this training course is not going to be as easy as I thought it would be. I have 15 quid of luncheon vouchers in my bag and a tesco metro next door, and I want some pepsi max to try and wake myself up !!! Instead I went for a walk to try and wake myself up, which sort of worked.

Had to post a parcel off this morning, am not counting that though as it was an amazon sale and therefore postage had already been paid for.

Now to just make it back home without buying anything at Waterloo station. The most annoying thing is I couldn't find an empty bottle that I could fill up at home to bring a drink with me, but I refuse to allow that to be justification for buying one.

Well I've made it back from London safely without spending anything. Even though I was so hungry I was digesting my own insides I managed to walk past a Portuguese bakery with only a brief glimpse at the delicious pastries lining the shelves.

  • It's great to read all these success stories :A and it's equally great to add that it's been another NSD for me too!
After a morning on the computer (working, not MSE!) I felt like I needed a walk but didn't want to walk past shops and get tempted. So I packed my backpack with cardboard, 2 shopping bags with empty plastic bottles (surprisingly light) and did a 2mile walk to the recycling centre.
Result: walked 4 miles, feel refreshed, got rid of recycling, no petrol wasted and no money spent. If only all the days were like this ;)

Managed to get back from London without spending anything - yay. Two more days of my training course left. I'm going to see my sister and her new baby tomorrow after the course might as well make the most of having an all underground zones travelcard paid for by work.
