In May 2011, my wife and I gave £2000 to Redress Claims to start the process of PPI and they said they would claim back years of mis-sold PPI. We gave them all the information yet 14 months on nothing despite many e-mails asking for updates, letters and of late saying i will start legal procedings to retrieve my £2000. What can I do as they just ignore me?0

Follow through on your threats of legal action.
You can also report them to the Ministry of Justice, but that won't do much to get your £2,000 back.urs sinserly,

I took out a loan with Egg I asked for my payments to be protected with insurance, I became ill so I was forced to use the insurance as I could no longer work. The loan has now been paid off & closed. Can I still try & claim for missold PPI. This may sound really stupid as I have been advised that I can't as I did use the insurance. Could somebody please confirm this.
Many thanks0 -

You can still complain but if your reasons for complaint are limited (you cant say you didnt need it, know about it or were not eligible). Plus, if your complaint is successful, they deduct the amount paid out from the redress. This could be more than you paid in premiums.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Received a call from BH this morning asking details regarding my employers Death in service and Critical Illness figures. They will now complete the claim today and send a letter out. Does this sound like good news, given that they know I had cover?0

Strange request as neither death in service or critical illness cover overlap with PPI.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Life assurance and critical illness cover are not PPI.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
