  • Can anyone help with my query?!! I took out a personal loan with Tesco finance in 2002 paid off in 2007. I've just obtained a copy of the credit agreement and under details of the loan it lists 'Insurance Loan' £1269.00 (the premium payable to the insurers for optional Payment Protection Insurance cover for the First customer. Does this mean that it is PPI?

    Yes, it does.

The credit agreement may show PPI, but it doesn't mean you actually paid it. You will have had thirty days grace in which to cancel, for instance.
  • hi I had a loan with alliance and leicester which as been paid, I wrote asking for my ppi back, I was told I had to have the ppi in the first place, they have told me they have no record and I have no paper work how do I go about getting back what is owed to me? thanks in advance.

my partner has a mortgage with lloyds tsb and also took out a loan at the same time, ive glanced through his paperwork but can not see where it would tell me he is paying PPI. It does say that it was discussed with him etc. he got it out about 6-8 years ago and is still paying it all off. any ideas if i can find out if he is or has been paying PPI?

    thanks :-)

I have had a Natwest goldplus charge card for twenty years. Does anyone know if there was any ppi on this type of card :)
  • Apologies if this question has been asked before. I have
Oomed through the FAQs and cannot see an answer to this question, nor on recent threads.
I am considering reclaiming PPI on a credit card. I have had success (through this site) reclaiming mis-sold PPI on a loan - one letter and they sentbme a cheque - no fuss.
I can remember having PPI added to a credit card balance on statements without my permission (x pence per £100 owed) - I can remember having to ring up and cancel it, only to have it appear again two months later etcetera.
As I say, I am considering it, but there is one concern that is stopping me at the moment: my question is - can my credit card company close my account in 'revenge'? I would not be in a position to pay off the balance in full if they did this.

Apologies if this has been asked before. I have never had a loan or a credit
card. I was contaced by a PPI reclaim company and was a told that I could reclaim for PPI taken out on a mortgage I had taken out.

    Is this true?
