thanks amersall(mwahhhhhhhhhhhh)as promised xx
its all a little comfusing at the moment as no one at lloyds can give me a answer regarding the joint ppi.the ex hub never left a will as he killed himself so nothing was left to say who got what.there is 2 children of the marriage so i may send them copies of birth certs for them as even if i dont get nowt ill be dambed if the wife at the time gets all(if any) as it was me who paided half towards the loans and they where all paid off at the time of our divorce.
just another quick question
at the same time as phoning about the loans i asked about a cc(in just my name) now they sent a letter back saying no ppi on this card but looking at my statements it does have cardholder protection insurance on which i know i didnt need cos the account that we had at lloyds at the time covere us for loss/theft of cards and so on. so can i just ask is this the same thing and do i just send the copies off to the same people as the ppi?0 -
Check the address on both, if they are correct then send them again.
If you hear nothing back in the next 3 weeks then send the complaints to FOS, make sure you have proof of posting to send as FOS will have deemed these to have been delivered 2 days later.
Thanks amersall, I have checked the addresses on there website, have emailed a complaint to them both, asking for a reply in 7days,no reply so far, I wil give them another week then resend it all by recorded mail, (sent the originals by recorded mail)
Thanks again for your input0 -
Hi all just a quick question...We have a written to HSBC regarding PPI and they have written back to me and my husband seperately. The letter that my husband has received states they are looking into 2 cases one mortgage one loan. But the letter back to me says that they need me to go into a branch and show them my passport and utility bill as we have moved since we have last had any dealings with them. Problem being I cant find my passport! As both the loan and the mortgage PPI claims are joint with my husband will it hold up the process? Or would they just process it with my husband? Dont understand why he doesnt have to go in and show them proof of who he is and address???
Suppose I should just ring and harrass them every day like they did to us for months on end when we owed them money!0 -
hi notgot
cant understand why they asked fo yours and not hubs.have you got a drivers licence?? ring them and see if that will do if not get hunting for your passport lol.not sure if it will hold it up or not but knowing them it probs will if you have to post it off make sure you post it recorded so they cant say its not got there or see if they can fax it over to them from your local branch xx gl wiv your claim0 -
Hi,
I have had a rejection from Creation Finance stating that my PPI was sold on a non-advised basis. On the credit agreement I signed for the PPI cover. But, the salesman told me to sign here and sign here with an x, which I did. There was a section which contained the PPI waiver but the salesman had already put a line through it. In hindsight, I should have double checked what I was signing properly, but the salesman was pushy and had a very busy showroom full of customers. As the agreement date was August 2004, even although the payments were deferred for one year, is there anything I can do with this? I didn't need this cover as my hubby has ample cover through his employer.0 -

Hi, my husband thinks he was missold PPI on 2 loans about 20 years ago. Firstly, would he be entitled to reclaim this after so long? Secondly I have reached a dead end trying to get the account details from Barclays with this. Can anybody advise how I could get that info? Thanks.0

Before my oh makes a ppi claim I thought I would ask in here if his circumstances warrant a claim.
My husband has a very good private pension and after he retired from his job he took out a loan with Lloyds, as he has this pension and as it's one that he will have until he shuffles of his mortal coil should he have been sold insurance on the loan.
I did have a quick look to see if I could find out the answer but there is so much on here that I was getting a wee bit lost.

Get the complaint in, this is a win.0 -
