PPI Reclaiming Discussion Part 5

I have had a letter from Black Horse upholding my complaint and offering full refund of monies paid and 8% interest. However, they don't have any paperwork. The original loan was from United Dominion Trust and TSB. I have send them a copy of the credit agreement but they want proof I paid the loan and confirmation from my bank. It was 10+ years so no records. Any advice on what I should do. Thanks0

Hi we got offered £6,500 back for ppi on our credit card they said in the letter that it would be refunded back to our card but if the account is closed they will send a check well the card is still opened we are still using it but we have a bill on it of £1,299 does that mean that they will clear the balance and send us the rest in a cheque also how long does it take for the money to come our way :0

Hi more info
This loan was took out in 2004 and settled in 2005.
Does anyone know if he complains to Endeavour or HFC bank.
Quite confused on this one. I've read all the threads on Endeavour but still not sure who to contact first to get the ball rolling.
Many Thanks0 -

Hi, I am new here and would like some help if possible.
I have spent all afternoon reading through this thread and some others on here after being told by my sister to claim back PPI.
I have a credit card with Barclays and my husband has a credit card with Capital One and we are paying PPI on both. Neither of us remember being told about it by the CC companies, especially not told that it was not compulsory.
We have both just filled in the claim forms, but who do we send them to?
Do we send them to the addresses on our CC statements?
Also, we have a loan with Natwest; which has PPI on it that we both knew about when we applied for the loan. The thing is we had 2 previous loans with Natwest that had PPI on, but that we weren't told it was optional at the time of applying. The first loan was consolidated into the second and then again into the now current loan.
My question is can we claim back the PPI for the first 2 loans, but keep the PPI in place for the current loan (husband insists in keeping it in case of redundancy, even though it won't cover him if he has any problems with his back/spine as that is a pre existing condition).
Will they cancel the PPI on the current loan if we try to claim for the previous PPI?
We only have the paperwork for the current loan, husband likes to shred any paperwork after only a short while and especially if the paperwork is no longer current!
Hoping someone can help me0 -

Hi, I went bankrupt about two and half years ago, and now I have been receiving phone calls from ppi companies advising me that I would be able to claim as I was mis sold ppi. Does my bankruptcy effect this?

Thanks. I have sent off the forms to Cap One and Barclays and will go into my local Natwest to see about the PPI on the loan.
How long do I give Cap One and Barclays to respond? Is it 12 weeks?0
