You're not dimthe loan balance will have reduced by the whole PPI amount as well as the refund you got.

They have sent me info for ombudsman if im unhappy with the service. should i just wait and see what they come back with? thanks
Give them more time to look at this, the FOS can take a year or more, hopefully you won't have to wait too long for Tesco0 -

Was this a Mortgage or loan/cc PPI?, you will have to find the advisor to send the complaint to, as he sold you the PPI.0 -

I have just realised I did not post my success.
I applied for an Egg loan in 2003 for £18K, debt consolidation. completed online and opted for no PPI. As I was due to leave for our last holiday before our first child came along, which is why I remember it vividly, I got a call from Egg.
A female sales person was agreesivly trying to get me to take up PPI. Despite explaining that I worked for a financial comapny and could get good rates and I got 1 years sick pay she spent 20 mins tailoring a PPI. Being young and in a rush I accepted.
Complained to Egg last year and they found in my favour £3,900 odd refunded. Cleared off the arrears on the loan, I was in default and on a repayment plan and left me £800 odd to go towards Christmas which was handy. The £200 per month I was putting towards that debt is now going towards other debts.
Hurrah for MSE as I never would have claimed without you.
Now waiting to hear from the insurers who provided PPI for my wife's Dorothy Perkins store card. I think it was missold as I would have got her the same cheap insurance through work that I had to cover redundancy sickness & death. Alsoe I cannot believe a young women in a clothing store can properly assess the suitability of an insurance product. I will let you know if we have any success with that.0
