    Slooooow;)

HSBC routinely request the FOS Consumer Questionnaire be filled out for EVERY INDIVIDUAL LOAN OR CREDIT CARD
They even say in their letters
"The questionnaire is a vital part of our investigation and it may not be possible to respond to your concerns without it".

The questionnaire is indeed the one at the link you (and I) provided.

LOL :rotfl::rotfl::D I am slow today, I blame the rare hot weather we're having.:D;)

Cheers for confirming on that though, good one. ;)

Thanks for the replies, i honestly cant remember anything lol, just did my very best......

I did the form just for the credit card.

But they sent me PPI numbers for like 5 other loans? I cant remember ever having that many unless they were consolidations and they started new ones, god i might just do the loans through a PPI company.....

I hope you don't do that. Remember; "Act in haste repent at leisure".

You do realise that HSBC will STILL require you to fill in forms for each loan even if you go through a Claim Company?

You'll also pay around 25% (plus VAT) of your redress to them!

The other loans listed are certain to be part of a consolidation chain (as you guessed). As such, it's a simple matter of putting the same complaint reasons for each loan; as each will have consolidated the one before. Do make sure to fill out a form for each, it will just hold up your complaint otherwise.

I did mention this would happen in reply to a post of yours a month ago. I sincerely hope this post doesn't also fall on deaf ears.

It certainly will not and I very much appreciate your guidance and encouragement.

I will have to get some questionairres printed out and just put the same answers on everyone.

Pity i cant just do them all on the one form

Ahh well a bit of hard work could pay dividends :)

You could fill out just the one form with the answers but omit the policy numbers and dates. Then copy this form several times and add the relevant dates and numbers of each individual account.
    Not so much hard work!;)

I think you'll be okay, manama, since you appear to have detailed
everything you want to complain about in the first instance. Evil Eddie has been sent the forms because he didn't use them at all and didn't know about some of the loans!
Good luck ringing them, I was on hold for thirty minutes before being abruptly cut off.

You certainly can, any redress that you get may be taken off the debt, but the whole PPI will be taken off the balance and this may even clear the remaining balance.
If you paid one monthly payment to this loan that included the monthly PPI amount, then this was front loaded ppi, this means that the PPI was a loan on top of the loan paid to term end with interest, use this as a reason for being mis sold, this is the most upheld of PPI mis sell.

the advice on here really gives me the positive thinking i need to get back what is mine, made mistakes in the past, and was just happy paying off my debt due to my mistakes,....but a bonus pay back at the end of all the hard work over the years would be good. will let you know how it goes. cheers.

    Hello there,
I too have had a request from HSBC to fill in a fos questionnaire.

I was unsure as to the account numbers of the loans I have had so I phoned them up and they gave me the account no's for 5 loans which I have had with them over the years, but said they could not tell me which ones had PPI and which ones didn't.

I know at least 3 did have PPI but not sure of the corresponding account numbers.

Should I fill in a form for each account anyway?
or is it bad practice to try and claim from an account which may or may not have had PPI?

    Any advice appreciated.
