Always get free range eggs from a local farm where we also buy sacks of potatoes etc.
Won't compromise on:-
Clover
Branston Beans
Branston Fruity Sauce
Weetabix
Can't think what else. There would have been a time I only bought branded items!0 -
Won't compromise on:
HP brown sauce
Decent toilet roll (normally cushelle on offer)
Free range eggs
Flora light
I have an open mind on most other things. In fact my latest conversion is to Cien shampoo and conditioner from Lidl. Seems identical to Pantene and smells the same but half the price :T0 -
Only buy
free frange eggs
cravendale or Tescos Oure milk
lurpack light for me and Icant believe its not butter light for my girls
tampax pearl
twinnings tea bags
british meat, with at least farm assured symbol

Dove body wash, E45 cream and Redken shampoo. They are expensive, expecially Redken but the chemicals in other stuff messes up my skin.
When it comes to food, the first thing I look at are the ingredients, choose the ones with the least rubbish and pick the cheapest from that - it was after buying a triple pack of pizza for pound and then reading it had over 20 ingredients, most of which I couldnt pronounce.Total Wins 2011: Zilch

I didn't think i had any, but after reading the thread realise i do.
some of our purchases are necessary due to DS being latose intollerant so aside from that
Yorkshire tea (even though i'm fromt he other side of the pennines)
Shower gel, moisturiser - sanctuary in winter, bodyshop in summer
Facial - Clinique, although i have the aldi night-time stuff which i like
Wine - no specific brand but not "cheap"
Marmite or vegemite - i like both although they are very different, but not any of the ownbrand stuff
There are probably more but can't think of them......0 -
Oh I forgot walkers crisps, I'm not particularly fussy, to me a crisp is a crisp but other half is fussy and throws a wobbly when I buy other brands

I'd like to say chocolate but then again I tend to buy it in Lidl where it's pretty cheap and decent quality to boot.0
