The only things I won't/can't change is Head & Shoulders, Persil washing powder, non perfumed soap & semi skimmed milk.0

My non-negotiables aren't food products either (if I don't like the cheap substitute I'd rather just go without than compromise) but toiletries:
- Head & Shoulders shampoo
- liquid handwash and shower gel (preferably Carex but depends what's available at the 99p shop); bars of soap are nasty and unhygenic
- good quality toilet roll...gotta treat your a*se right
Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
"No man is worth, crawling on the earth"- adapted from Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio
Hope is not a strategy

Eggs must be organic and free-range; Branston beans; good bread, preferably from a bakers; good meat (Waitrose or butcher); Blend 37 is the only instant coffee I like; M&S pretty loo paper; Green & Black bars of chocolate.0

Aside from that the only non value stuff I buy is dairy free spread, milk, chocolate & ice cream, although that's due to health!0 -
Free Range/Organic Eggs and Dairy. If I couldn't afford them then I'd go without.
I also prefer to stick with the same washing detergent as I know it suits our skin. So I stock up on it when it's on a good offer - currently have about 18 months worth left.
