Haven't seen her on the messies thread recently either... :think:0 -
Have had a few nsd's :j but have got to go shopping tomorrow, have written my list and written my meal plan for the next week, so hope I manage to keep myself under control!
Hope everyone is ok and has a wonderful weekend.0 -
OK so I've managed to keep petrol down to only 1 tank so far so might get away with one tank less than usual this month but tax and MOT are due by the end of the month.
I read somehwre that Martin advised anyon with Car tax due at the end of this month to buy it before the budget on wednesday - he's anticipating a rise. I'm planning to do it this weekend - hope it helps someone.
Another boring NSD here - its 1 week till pay day - 7 beautiful days for me to meal plan and dream of a trip round a sm - oops, not really killed the addiction!:cool:44 day challenge
1. Pay £650 off overdraft (£ 288/ £650)
2. Lose 12 lbs (4.5/ 12)
3. Use YNAB everyday (6/44)0 -

Thanks for the heads up. Can they put it up after they've already sent out the bill for it? Won't risk it now you've warned me but I'd be pretty  if they did. Was planning to wait until payday (next friday) to make sure there's enough money to pay by debit card. I guess I'll know by Wednesday if I've got enough to last another 2 days!0 -
Note to self: do not enter SM without a list when have PMT. You know you will come out (like today) with 3x chocolate bars, large bag of doritos and a large multipack of crisps and a job lot of mint aero bubbles! - oh and several magazines. Total: £13.50 (at least some were on special offer :rotfl:
And.. I didn't buy anything for dinner. Result takeaway for DH and kids (bad mummy) and nothing for me as I felt sick from all that chocolateAnother £10
Must try harder, must try harder......
Yes, I agree. I've done the same thing today...loads of chocolate (ate lots of it, and now feel sick) , and also bought myself a couple of cheap bunches of Daffs as their smiley faces cheer me up
Thanks Mrs Addicted to Spending - I've never made French Onion soup, but it's on my list for Sunday's onion cook-a-thon :T
I MUST not go anywhere near shops until next Friday...someone tie me down, please
Have a great weekend, everyone
LB xx
Just caught up on the thread, and wanted to say DebbieDeeJay - sorry to hear about the young one's friend. Awful news. Hope you're all ok.0 -
MunniMuncha wrote: »Hi Sistercas - I have only ordered from AF once and they let you know when the delivery has been dispatched (usually the day before delivery). In the morning I got a text stating what time it would be delivered within an hour slot - ie, 3.35pm - 4.35pm. If this is not convenient you text them back with another day (3 days forward to choose from), but you can also give them an alternative of where to leave your package (round the back, with a neighbour etc). I was quite impressed by the delivery service and couldn't make the first date and time they gave me, so arranged for it to be delivered the next day - simples!:D HTH
thats really helpful , i wondered about it as there is nowhere to leave a parcel here and didnt want to be out when they delivered . thankyou
just back from the SMs, DD1 insisted on coming so i spent more than i wanted too , plus i got some easter egg hunt stuff and a couple of eggs for a £1 :T
will just tot up my spends and update my sig0 -

I'm having to use some savings and then replenish on payday ( Friday as well). If you can I would pay it on Tuesday to avoid any immediate / 6pm deadlines.44 day challenge
