Look after yourself Mrs Hinge especially with your back.
The King is unwell with a fever and has been sick, regurgitated banana:eek: I have resorted to sleeping downstairs with him tonight, we both have not slept for 2 nights. He seems to be sleeping better probably caused we're not squashed up on his single bed :cool:0 -
Mrs Hinge, I've been reading your diary and lurking for a while and just wanted to pop in to say hi and how amazed I am at everything you get through every day!
A friend of mine has Ehlers Danlos, she was only diagnosed in her 40's after some pretty awful experiences and is still having a really difficult time of it. So I really feel for you and your daughter. (and your other 2 sound lovely/hilarious/challenging as well) Best of luck with the council house move and getting something better suited for all your family.
Have a good sofa-chill!
Welcome London to the mad house, anything goes here and nothing is taboo..we don't stand on ceramony here :rotfl:
Ehler Danlos is a horrific condition and has no mercy for it's sufferers at allit seems alot of people fight for a long time for a diagnosis and spend years of their lives in extreme pain and often belittled by ignorant and uneducated health professionals  We are making it our mission in the House of Hinge to educate as many people as we can and highlight the condition. Missy Hinge is preparing for a EDS fund raiser at school that she has nagged them for :j I am sorry to hear about your friend I can only imagine the difficulties she has faced.
Most days are busy but then I do have 20hours awake each day :rotfl:
Nice to "See" you London, Please feel free to stick around..... everyone is welcome to join the maddness!

The King is better today already eating
I did buy a double bed for the King but he preferred the box room so Missy Stripes is happy albeit a rather large bed for a little 4 year old.
The kids have settled into school especially Missy, she loves it. The King accepts going to school reluctantly, some concerns but we'll sort it out eventually.
Otherwise the Stripes are plodding along and getting ready for Xmas :xmastree:0 -

Hi Mrs H I love your meal plans, you are so good with them! I used to ys an awful lot but ended up not using it properly and just wasting or filling the freezer but I wish I got the meat bargains you do!
I am sure master H understands that you do care - my mum had 4 of us and always worried about it but none of us ever had issues with time and attention - just happy to have such a great mum. (my dad was a bit of a mare - didnt really help much but at least he is always 'there' in other ways!) x

I go with a list of meal that we would like to make (very rough list) like chicken meals x 2, mince meals x 2, roast x 1 etc.... and see what I can pick up. the things I look for are joints of meat/birds for roasts as we like one every sunday, mince and chicken bits always get eaten. sausages/burgers/diced beef also do well the only things we don't tend to eat much of is fish, liver or other bits like hearts!
Mr Hinge has realised if he wants to ramn his face with meat he eats whats in £hi% corner or goes with out :rotfl:one the days there is nothing reduced we get 1 mince, 1 chicken, 2 packs of sausage and 6 chicken breasts/thighs and it has to stretch the week and with Asda's 3 for £10 we can get that for about £13-14.
Master Hinge is very very independent and I am grateful for this. He really is a ray of sunlight in the Hinge House. I know families with 7-8 children and they all do well so I know he is ok, I guess it is just a fear of mine about "failing" them.Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

I spoke too soon about an afternoon to myself
Superman is having a really really bad day and school rang for us to pick him up
He is stressed, emotional and his anxiety is through the roof. He is sat naked on the sofa wrapped in his big fleece blanketed humming, screetching and head butting the sofa.
I hate that he is struggling so much and I can't do much to help. Autism outreach are coming in to school hopefully next week to put a plan in place. The new medication they want us to trial to help him sleep is playing on his mind. He refused to drink it and threw it all the wall. Now he thinks all food and drink will have medicine hidden in itand that we are trying to poision him.
