New teacher = meltdowns before going to school.
However finally found the triggers in school so happy boy the King is now :T
How's missy Hinge?0 -
:eek:meltdowns galore here as well  Superman is in the know that change will occur but he doesn't know what  Hope the King is not to distressed Stripes. I really genuinely can not wait for the school holidays
Missy Hinge is doing well thankyou, her new pain meds are working well, she is a month in with no crutches now and has only used her wheel chair a handful of times. Her new wrist and thumb splints are the latest battle as she doesn't like themthey are bright blue and stand out like a sore thumb  pardon the pun :rotfl: We heard last week she is getting a laptop and software funded by the LEA so no battle with school for precious ££'s from there budget! this should help her hands no end.
Just as we get one problem sorted another appointment throws up something else to deal with. Her tummy troubles have finally been looked in to properly and the reason why she is reacting so badly to so many food groups is she has a belly full of poo..... literallythey said she has at least 2-3 years build up of old waste that is sitting there rotting away. Her hypermobility means her bowel and intestines are also stretchy and she has developed many pouches where poo gets caught and just stays there. We have a 3 month clear out program to commence :eek: I am putting this off for obvious reasons until the school holidays  I have visions of us been up to our ear holes in the unmentionables :rotfl:
Talking of the unmentionables how is the King doing? No more floaters?:rotfl:

I love a poo talk
it's an important area in our household especially with a non verbal. Whenever school starts on a Monday he's holding it in as he's anxious but he had a BM last night _party_ really we did a dance, Sunday was his last one and the King is an everyday boy. Which means he will enjoy school the rest of the week with no tummy cramps.
Big hugs to Missy Hinge but isn't she doing really well. Well done to her :T
Yep looking forward to holidays so we can reduce the stress for the King. He's on a Listening programme implemented at home, do you think it's an effective therapy Mrs Hinge?
Mr Hinge still having his mid life crisis or has he seen sense?0 -

:T Yes Missy H is doing fantastic, she is working so very hard to get her muscle tone up and keep going. she is determined to prove that horrid consultant wrong and insists she most definitely will not be in a wheelchair full time but the time she is a teenager!
Listening programme isn't something we have tried but from what I know about it then it won't do any harm and for all intents and purposes may actually do some good! Are you doing 15minutes sessions daily? what sounds/music are you using? I have my fingers crossed for you!
Mr Hinge is re-writing the midlife crisis book and re-designing a new T-shirt  I think nothing will change his mind and the last few weeks have been about accepting what will be and learning to manage the daily tasks alone  I had a wobble and panic about how I will get by but realistically I have been doing this journey pretty much alone anyway. Financially I am the only provider, childcare wise I still do all the school drop offs and pick ups, house work well that gets done when I can fit it in but I am certain Mr Hinge only complicates things in the domestic department as with the laundry so I know deep down we all will be ok but it saddens me. I feel like the last 12 years of my life I have spent with a man I thought I knew but didn't really. Then I glimpse in to the future and all is uncertain. I don't want to turn 30 this year as a fat, frumpy, skint, single mum with 3 (very awesome and amazing) yet very hard work and demanding children in tow. Yet on the other hand we deserve better then Mr Hinge is or as the case maybe isn't offering.Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A
