My baby girl is 10 today  how did that happen?!
She has had a fabulous day, I am so very proud of the beautiful young lady she is becoming. :A
School reports out today, Missy Hinge is doing amazing way above her targets, she is confident and sociable if a little bossyok a lot bossy but I guess that makes he a natural leader? :rotfl::rotfl:She is pleased with the new class she is going in to even if the teacher is not her first choice, she is staying with her 4 really good friends!
Superman however, he will have a dual class this year with 2 teachers sharing the week....... for a child that needs routine and consistency why would they even think for a second this is acceptable?!:( I really feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall. He however is a computer whizz that loves jumping in PE and appears to be exhausted and sleepy most of the time..... No !!!!!!$ sherlock!Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

:wave::wave::wave:
so I have been Awol for a few weeks....... now that the bags are unpacked and the washer is on for the 4th time today I shall explain!
It has been a very spendy few weeks as wellwe arrived home today after 10days away. The bank balance doesn't look great over spending teamed with SSP, it will be very very tight this month and next
I plan to keep our spends down over the next few weeks and have no more birthdays to worry about until September :rotfl:
Plan for digging us out of a rather large "muddy puddle" (can you tell master hinge is pepa pig obsessed?!):rotfl:- car boot sale...... i have several boxes of bits to sell and aim to clear some space and make enough ££ to cover the school uniforms
- holiday activities...... vouchers and merlin passes for days out, trips to the local parks with a picnic in tow and if my dodgy back and hip can take it a few bike rides
- meal plans..... Mr H is going to go hungry
he either eats our cheaper meat-less alternatives or goes with out. Simples.
- no swimming lessons over the summer holidays saving £15 a week
- fish out broken battered iphone and list on eBay

The hinge house looks less jumble-sale like now all the camping kit is put away and the mountain of dirty laundry (No less then 8 loads ) is now a mountain of ironing :rotfl:
menu for this week looks like:
Monday- cajun chicken, new potatoes, frozen veg and salad
Tuesday- chilli (vegetable) and rice
Wednesday- Hunts man's pie
Thursday- jacket potatoes with tuna/beans and salad
Friday- egg chips and beans
Saturday- sausage, mash, y.puds and frozen veg
Sunday- roast chicken, hm wedges and salad
Superman is at play scheme this week so just Missy Hinge and Master Hinge (who should be re-named Grotbag ) to entertain!
our trip away last week has done me the world of good although I'm more exhausted then before we went :rotfl:I think the new combination of pain meds are making me feel very sleepy and dozey. I put the toaster in the fridge earlier and the marg in the cupboard
I can't be the only one :rotfl::rotfl:

Today feels a lot like a pj day!
Superman has just been picked up by transport to go to playscheme, he bounced on the bus with out hesitation or a second glance back at me...... I'm glad he enjoys going i just wish I could get him to go to school so easily!!:o
Yesterday he came home with tales of holding a snake, a big hairy T-word spider, and several toads and slimey things! this communication book has pictures to show us........ Got a huge shock opening it up to see a close up of for mentioned big hairy spider
The post this morning brought a urgent referral for Missy Hinge to see a cardiologist...... Not sure who or why the referral was made nor why it would be marked as urgent and no one can tell me.... We will find out on Friday then!
Mr Hinge is preparing for the next step in his extreme midlife crisis a second interview tomorrow, i know this by his stupidly cheesy grin on his face and the fact his suit has appear out the wardrobe for airing and his crumpled shirt has been wafted under my nose for ironing several times this morning already! I will shove it where the sun don't shine and other unmentionable places if he suggests once more I should iron it
This living with him in no mans land is really taking its toll, every thing little or small is no longer a "quirk" and more a huge cause of annoyance for me. I dont want my life to be on holding playing this waiting game I want him gone so I can crack on with my own midlife crisis
Im back at the Drs this week and think I will get more time off sick as I really do not feel up to going back to work just yet. Panic attacks, constant pain and nightmares really don't help when I'm trying to show Mr Hinge I am a strong independent powerful woman who doesn't need anyone else to survive. Maybe all this will be easier once he has finally moved out?
S/w weigh in tonight and with 8 days off plan I am expecting a gain :mad: but you cant go on holiday to the seaside with out having fish and chips and bucket loads of icecream can you?!

:j Superman out the door, Master Hinge appears to be in a better mood and Missy Hinge has her nose in a book, grabbing 5 minutes and a cuppa before the daily chores start!
After a huge barny and a rather emotional heart to heart Mr Hinge has decided to put his midlife crisis on hold until we are in a better place, he wont be moving away and knows he has a lot of work to do to undo all the damage this has caused. He no longer has the option of "staying at home" his place in the hinge household is reliant on him getting a job, any job, and staying to put back in everything he has been taking for granted the last few years. I hope we can make this work and I hope this is the wake up call he needs.
When things get a bit  in the hinge household we do what we do best and.........decorate!The kitchen, hallway and stairs are looking rather grubby, bargain find yesterday a 5litre tin of "ivory" ( £11 in the sale shelves for a huge tin of "posh" name paint!" to refresh all the walls and I have hunted out the left over gloss paint from project Missy Hinge's attic!
Not quite papering over the cracks but certainly painting over them for the duration of this summer holiday!
our holiday last week seems like a life time away, the reality of been home and post holiday blues are kicking in, Superman has received a grant from the Family fund of haven voucher for a holiday next year, I've managed to shop around and found us a caravan for the easter break and a weeks camping in the summer holidays. The vouchers cover all but about £100 but for 2 holidays so not to be sneezed at and I am not grumbling as spends can be kept to a minimum and our days out can be covered with tesco vouchers and merlin passes :money::money:

Today feels like a glum day
another Gp appointment, another sick note and another lot of pills to add to the collection.
So far today I have successfully managed 1 load of washing and I have 2 loaves of banana bread cooking, no wonder my house is a mess
However I no longer have a fruit bowl full of over ripe squiggy banana's- Glass half full and all that jis! :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi Mrs. Hinge
Just wanted to say I love your diary. It's so interesting and I admire how you keep everything together!
I'll be popping in to see how you are getting on, if you don't mind?
Hope the phone call to the boss goes well.
