will look at this over the next week and find a debt busting friendly action plan to shift the lard!

So nicely put! :p lol. Unfortunately the 'junk' food is always waaaay cheaper than healthy fruit and veg :( Reduced section is how we always shop. Otherwise we'd be on beans and toast!! (well, toast for me - I don't like beans!! :p)
I think I will begin NSD but I have to pay car parking daily for work, i wonder if I can pay myself car parking money at the beginning of the month then not have to count this daily?

Exactly! Find out what works for you :)
we have a free love films trial at the moment so will find something free to watch

Always good! I like LoveFilm but don't really need it any more. Decent selection of films on freeview usually, and DVDs can be bought for peanuts too. Speaking of which - local HMV closing on Sunday so will have a skoot in and maybe get a few for the girls....
my crochet. it is looking rather splendid if i do say so myself:o

Post a pic when you're done please :D
Very tired Mrs H tonight, glad dinner is just to warm through, will share a hot bath with the boys and get some snuggly pjs on.

    Mmmmm bliss!! :o:D

    And just for superman..... :A

Shoes kicked off and tea is mashing. Time for a catch up!

8 hours overtime at work this week which will go in the pot for school holiday fun as the summer holidays seem to be creeping upon us

Nsd today :D and it is unlikely I will need to pay out over the weekend:money

Big shop arrived yesterday, must remember my kitchen is tiny :o the cupboards, fridge and freezer are full to bursting and with a little juggling i think we have enough to do 3 weeks of main meals so will just need to top up fresh fruit and lunch things :D i will have money left over in my grocery challenge this money :rotfl:

Paint bought for 2 of the bedrooms and operation empty loft will start tomorrow. I will be found ebaying everything and anything thats not nailed down :o i like the minimal look..... Not likely with my lot though :rotfl:

Ebay sales sit at £36 with 2 days to go, all items are collection so will mean no faffing About with postage

A evening of crocheting has kept me busy and kept me out of the biscuit tin :rotfl:

    Hello

All is calm in the Hinge house today, Lots of de-cluttering going on and trips to the tip, recycling center and cash for clothes places. 4 big bags of old clothing gone for £17.05 :j 3 more things listed on eBay and a boxful more waiting to go on today and tomorrow. Will head over the local charity furniture shop after lunch to have a look for a single bed frame for Miss Hinge's new room, Her high sleeper bed has been listed on Ebay as it is taller then the loft space :rotfl: Painting may or may not begin today in baby hinge's room to be depending on how much [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] treasured processions Miss Hinge will part with!

Had a play with the meal plan and it is pie and mash for lunch with veg ( no space in the freezer for pie ) and will have some soup/sandwiches later for tea. No grocery spends to report today, Mr Hinge did buy a sack of spuds from the farm yesterday though.... livid they have gone up £9 for 25kg will need to see if this is still cheaper then buying at the supermarket!

Have done 3 surveys today and almost ready to cash out a £10 voucher, just need 1 more which should hopefully be today or tomorrow.

No crochet for me today far too busy and my hands feel a little stiff :o I have done over half of a single bed sized blanket in just a few days....

of to clear some more junk and pack some more boxes!

Hope everyone is ok and enjoying this rainy weekend! ( big Hello to Stripe our resident lurker :))

 t'is blinking freezing in the hinge household today heating is on low, chuck is in the oven cooking, nice roast dinner will warm us up!

ebay sales looking good, 2 items ending this afternoon both with bids :T watchers already on the items listed yesterday and 3 more items to go on this afternoon, :o it is a shame this ebay listing is so frecking boring! have enquired with a local collected about selling Mr Hinge's old computer systems and boxes of games, hopefully that will generate some ££ otherwise they will also be going on ebay, after some snooping it seems they got for £60-110 :D

Room 1 is clear and will be painted this evening, hoping to get the junior bed out the loft and measure it up for a new mattress.... Miss Hinge's old pink bookshelves are been sanded and repainted blue for Superman who seems to be developing an interest in books, he insisted on practicing his alphabet letter on every page of the gruffalo last night :A how can one be mad?;)

Not much else to report really, Mr Hinge bough the last of the paint yesterday on offer in the range, 2 tins for £18 but they scanned at 13.99 each no discount  luckily Mr Hinge noticed and took them back and got refunded the £9.98 difference..... last month he would of left it and not said anything:mad:

Have been thinking alot about Superman's request for a birthday party and I think I may have come up with a plan. I can not afford 2 parties and Miss Hinge will be 9 a few weeks after Superman is 5 so I think the plan maybe to hirer the same hall we did last year (£80 for 2.5 hours ) and do a joint party, the hall is big enough to have the bouncy castle and football net up and still have a "disco" at the other end. I can do the food and cakes on a shoe string and would need to be very inventive to make little party gifts/bags for free or less then 50p each :o not sure if that is do-able or not.

Time to peel the spuds will be back with more pondering later....

I think the money making if more inspired by the thought of not having to share a bedroom with baby Hinge anymore :rotfl:if he could of shared with Superman he would of been [STRIKE]evicted[/STRIKE]moved out long ago!!

Is the "king" at school or preschool? has he had his ASD diagnoses long? As I get more and more in to our "journey" with Superman I am meeting more and more parents enduring the same. It is nice to not be alone but also saddening that so many people are battling on this journey.

I know what you mean the king has atypical sister 16 months younger, it took a long time like a year for him to accept she was here to stay.

Diagnosed when he was 3. He is on an Early Intervention scheme at an ASD school for his nursery year and is staying for his Reception year. Its been a blessing meeting other parents as even though we have family DH and I can still feel isolated.

It can be very lonely at times mainly 4am in the morning when Superman gets up :rotfl:

So Mr Hinge's mega drive is going of Ebay, the local bloke is far to much hard wok for my liking and looking at the previous auctions for them they do go well so I will take my chance.... it's been on less then 20minutes and has 4 watchers already:eek:! Although I have worn out the refresh button my on laptop whilst waiting for these items to end :rotfl:

Just for superman :A:A:A:A:A:A:Ato stop him [STRIKE]torturing [/STRIKE] nagging me!
