empiredirect has 5-6 stores in UK. get phone numbers of the stores from website and make sure they have stock and the same price instore. That makes JL happy to price match. there are couple of threads running in avforums (for several years).

I got pricematched in this way (saved £750ish)

This is a good TV, but I've had problems coercing it into displaying the VGA input correctly at its native resolution of 1366x768 (not 1336x800 as the Argos page states). I've tried feeding it S-Video from my DVD player and I was very impressed with its deinterlacer.

This TV is identical to the Venturer-branded TV on sale at Tesco for about £30 more.

Bought the 32" Cello from Amazon with Freeview for £410. First one had to be sent back as the digital TV section would not work, which was a bit of a pain but next one came really quickly. I think it looks fantastic and as yet (still early days though after 3 months) have had no further problems. Only thing is that it only has two viewing formats and you can't 'fit to screen', with more recent programmes.

Oh by the way the TV dropped in price to £400 within 4 weeks of me buying it, and a quick e-mail to Amazon soon got £10 refunded.

I was looking for a medium sized replacement for my broken Relisys HDTV.

Found this Samsung 23" LCD HDTV:

Now this was 359.99 yesterday and I did a search on kelkoo and only amazon was close to the price, now as you can see it is £299.99 and I've ordered one

Got one of these last week from Richer Sounds for £299 as a second tv for the kitchen/Diner - Well impressed with the pq via freeview after i fiddled with settings and toned it down a bit.
