Also are these companies reputable - have others ordered froim them?

So I am tempted to save the money on the extended warrany and hope nothing goes wrong - what are your views? I have heard that samsung have had panel problems but don't know which models this affects etc. Also i have never had any problems (touch wood) with previous CRT TV's however are LCD TV's more susceptible to problems?

Finally i have been looking at the newer Panasonice R88 in my local currys but they do not have the R87 above to compare against. The R88 looks a very nice set finished in a 'shiny piano black' is the finish on the R87 exactly the same? are there any other differences between the 2 sets?

Finally i an toying with the idea of wall mounting the TV what's the best value wall mounting kit to buy and is it fairly straight forward to mount? Also need to work out how i'm going to hide the cables etc.

R88 has blue glowing light

R87 has big power button in middle R88 has small power button to right hand side.

Both piano black.

R88 only available in dixons currys etc I think.

Panel probs were with the R73 R74.
