    Dealing with my procrastination :T

Three things on my to do list, don't want to put myself off....lol. I will be happy if I get these three things done.

    1. clean front windows
    2. go round to mams and plant her bulbs (they are no sprouting in the packets)
    3. Wash all my paintwork in sitting room, ready to gloss tomorrow .

Managed my NSD Mondays and Tuesday and think I can manage another today :j.

  • Nothing much to report on the Financial front. Saving where I can and not spending, if I am not going to die without it.

I only did 2 of 3 things on my list BUT it has rain here for days, so sort of not my fault. I progressed from washing paintwork to actually painting, so thats a bonus.

Today my Friend is taking me out for a run int he car, we are going to Aysgarth Falls in Yorkshire, so it walking boots, wellies and brolly I think. then we are going onto Hawes for something to eat. Which my friend has offered to pay for and I have accepted. Not feeling to good about it. I think its just knowing that I have not got the money to pay for if I wanted too. Our minds are funny things. Friend said "Don't argue with me, you have not allowed me to treat you for ages. I am proud of what you are doing and I want to treat you, to keep you going" if that makes sense ?.

I was not going to mention this, as I dare not hope.

DH has an interview next Wednesday. I am trying hard not to build my hopes up.

    :)

  • not feeling so good today, just feeling sorry for myself I think. Enjoyed my day out very much, but it has just reminded me of what I now cant do.

I Think the novelty of :money:is beginning to ware off . I have not done anything silly, like spend any money.

Trying to tell myself, it just for this year, then we will be home and dry. Easier said than done. Lot of people worse off than me, I realize that. Need to buck up and get on.

Two shifts over time to go on my next pay and 4 for pay after that. :j.

We all have up and down days MWNM - all very normal feelings. Your debts are going in the right direction. Often when we have our LBM we are very enthusiastic and go at it with gusto then the adrenalin wears off and something happens - unexpected bill, a day out, the realisation that to get where we want to be is not going to happen over night despite our super human efforts and things begin to feel a little flat. Its small steps all the way from now on and sometimes it will feel you have moved one stepped forward and slipped 2 back :( keep reading others peoples efforts and you will soon get your mojo back. Look back at your own debt position and you will see you have made an excellent start :)

Hi the post was from a newbie so maybe posted in wrong place?

Completely agree with Igamogam..the road is a bit rocky at times and as other diaries have said, it's exhausting keeping up the MSE life ALL the blo@dy time..hence why lots of people just go ostrich like and give up. Hey I am on my third LBM moment..it was only the one in Jan this year that has really stuck. The one in 2003 must have flickered and gone out:mad:

Well done for what you're doing. Especially the exercise. Hope it's helping

You're doing so well MWNM. And like others have said, once the big changes are done and you've got your budget sorted out and the debts are going down, it feels like just waiting then for the debts to go away.

At times like that I have a wee scout around on here and try to find myself a challenge. There are loads to try, like 'every penny's a prisoner' to see how much cash you can find on the street when you're out and about. I've found odd pennies and 5p then got so excited over finding 40p on a bus!

There are loads of challenges and they can really help you stay motivated.

Good luck. You're doing amazingly well. :)
If you know you have enough, you're rich. ;)
