OMG, dare I begin to think, things are looking up.
POST JUST ARRIVED, my rent statement...........I am 1 week in credit, I have been paying too much on my DD :j. But will just keep it as it is, but handy to know, if i get in a tight spot.
NSDs today and tomorrow...........I never never had these. Longest run I have had is 4.
Going to my sisters, this morning as its her birthday, made her present ! and used recycled present bag, that has not been written on. Also had nice pink tissue paper. Did buy something I know she has been looking for, cost £1.99, bought that 3 weeks ago. Usually I would have ran out yesterday and spent £20-30 on a present. I have worked out the cost of this present £4.00sh :money:Provident[STRIKE] £550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£450[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£400[/STRIKE] £300, Friend [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE], £800 :j

Well done on the present! Doesn't it help so much when we're organised? I can't count the many, many times I ended up rushing out at the last minute to buy a present and spending way too much.
You're really inspiring!If you know you have enough, you're rich.0 -
Also want to say Well Done! on the present. I have another run of birthdays May - July - DD, DS2, D in-law, DGD, OH's sister, my closest friend, and DS3's girlfriend. Will concentrate efforts on NOT spending too much. Outgoings are fast overtaking income and savings rapidly diminishing. Panic is setting in!0

Congratulations on clearing the CT arrears :j
Hope your sis loves her present x0 -

Ani*fan Being organized is a definite money saver. My procrastination has cost me £ssss too and not only that but problems as in having to rush at the last minute and stress me to bits. I am working on the procrastination, its not easy but just keep reminding myself how good it make me feel, when sorted ahead of time.
My sister loved her present and genuinely looked as if she loved it too :j.
Adrisco, another crop of birthdays for you, is there anyway you can cut the cost of any of them ?. No more birthdays for me this month and only 1 in May.
Thank You all for my congratulation of my Council Tax clearance. Such a relief, as RFTA says, just keep chipping away. Does not feel like much of a change month to month but when one debt is gone, its a fabulous feeling :j.
Forgot to say along with my birthday present I collect £20. That is what I opened my Credit Union account with, also emptied my 2s n 1s jar, there was £6 odd in it. My jar is one of those that counts up as you go. Also what I have found makes a little difference is. Using my 2s n 1s by, If my shopping is say £3.52 and have to pay with a note, I give the note and the 2p, that way used my 2p and don't get as much change. Is that sort of rounding down ?

NSDs Saturday and Sunday, £5.23 spent today. NSDs planned for Tuesday and Wednesday
I downloaded a fab app for my phone, but just really getting into it now. I have a running totals of my spends and balances now. Tracks all my bank accounts and can also set up budgets for different categories and as you spend in those categories, it counts them down.......love it. Also put in a purse account. Now no excuse not to know exactly where I am at any given moment. :money:
Also got a gift app, put in everyone last night. As I am murder at Christmas for, doubly up gifts, forgetting what I had bought. Noe I can assign to the person, soon as I buy it. :money:
I never buy apps only use free ones :money:
