Free listing on eBay today for private sellers. Hopefully after the boot sale I'll have enough energy to put some on later today.

Natterjacks - I've decided to stop work and to try to earn enough through various means to not work full time again. I'll have to take a part time job on though as I can't at present see where all the income will come from. My job finishes Friday!
    1 debt in 100 days £48.43/£374 - over 10% paid!

    Stash busting 3/20 projects completed

    Debt: [STRIKE]£22,025[/STRIKE] ] £21271 debt free date Oct 2016.

  • I think I'll have m target at £500 (or doubling £250)

I earn this amount at work and if I could earn this in April I can look at giving up work. It will be hard to see how much I've 'invested' buying stock to double my money as I already have stock and will replenish throughout month and some may not sell this month but will next. I could have a target of £500 and a target to double my quantity of sales from previous month maybe? Even though all £500 Id make would prob be put in to buy more stock anyway! I think I'll reinvest this month then try and pay myself a wage equal to part time wages in May.

I have to work 12 weeks before I can leave anyway as I would have to pay some of my maternity pay back from the maternity leave I've just been on! & weeks down and 5 to go!

You are all doing amazing with doubling your money though! I just need to find my rhythm then hopefully I will be too!
    £20 a day April 2014 £834.87/£600 :j
    £20 a day May 2014 £108.45/£600

oooh i'm very excited. I've just found this thread and would love to join if you will have me.

I do lots of crafty things already and love the idea of using this to try and double my money. Can I start from April and aim to turn £50 into £100.

    Thanks

Thanks for the invite - yes I'd love to - picked up a rug frame for £2 on Saturday so that might get me back working on one of many projects. I'll tot up the unfinished ones at the end of the week and join in then.

Bootsale went well today although I am shattered this afternoon (DH set alarm for 4.00 am on his mobile and the mobile went forward an hour automatically). Could not get back to sleep. Anyway made £125 at the bootie so that takes me over this target - should I just double again do you think or make it harder? I'm away for two weeks at the end of April so won't be able to do anything at that time.

Everyone seems to be doing well and this challenge is really helping to keep me motivated - thanks Fairyclicks et al.

  • hi,

Can I join you guys please? I have been a stay at home mum for years (14!!!!!) and have tried many work from home jobs, all of which have been awful and very poor pay.

Have ebayed things on and off this year but need to make a big effort as I want to try and earn a living from it eventually if I can. gonna start with a good declutter of the house! got loads of my teenage daughters clothes all in excellent condition so its a start!!

One question I do have, if you guys dont mind. Could you explain to me what a Zopa account is? also I saw swagbucks and superpoints mentioned??

I have never heard of this, so would be grateful for the help. I have tried party plan before but am not very good at it :( so gotta try something else!

    Thanks :)

Oh yes of course you can join us - great to have you on the thread :D I know what you mean about the work from home jobs - think i have tried them all lol!

The zopa account is a peer lending service - you basically add money into your account and then lend it out for interest - i have been using zopa for several years now and quite enjoy it!

Swagbucks and Superpoints are what is known as get paid to sites (as in you get paid to do various things like watch videos, click on links that kind of thing) these 2 are my best earning sites. I have some more info on my blog (click my name and homepage) and if you want to try them let me know :)

I have never heard of this, so would be grateful for the help. I have tried party plan before but am not very good at it :( so gotta try something else!
