schritt is german for step, step towards, foot steps etc
    gerade is upright or straight
    aus is out
    oder is or

something step or something straight out

Only did german for 2 years and I'm going back 37 years too so I may be of no help whatsoever!

Paffagiren starts with a capital letter, so someone's riders/horse's name maybe?

I take no credit. Thank Google. You just drag the picture onto Google images &, if it's online, it finds it for you :rotfl:

Well it's been a day today.

Very strange - tried to help him but it was a fight we didn't win.

Dave you may be right about the tumour. We got a really experienced shepherd here & he offered to open him up so we would know but it was too late & we just buried him.

Never has experience of a choking before & thought at first it was bloat as he ws all bloated up - never had bloat before - but we drenched him & that didn't do & then went to get a stomache pipe down him but he was gone by then. I knew he was going. They sort of get that look.

I don't feel too bad as really there was little we could do & it happens we just are lucky & have few casualities normally - with the sheep that is.

Thanks all for your good wishes - means a lot as it can be a bit roller-coaster when you hit a bad spot with animals - cheers.
