Golf: A good walk spoiled.
Went out to a pub last night, where a friend had organised a supper event in aid of the Air Ambulance. The chef was the village's most celebrated caterer, and the one we used for DD1's wedding, so we knew it would be good.
Anyway, we left before the prize draw.....and guess what I won? That's right, a spoiled walk on the town's little course. :rotfl::(
Some of me hedge laying.....:D0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: oh dave that has made my day... :rotfl::rotfl:
couldnt stop laughing...
bit like me winning a sky dive when i have a fear of edges...:D0 -

It would be quite a nice walk, but to be honest, not a very long one, and there's a public footpath across the course anyway.:o
It may well become a raffle prize all over again, as it lasts till some time in 2014.
I feel a bit sorry for pigeons. A pair decided to make a nest in the end of the barn, as they often do. Not wanting all the mess, I pushed the sticks out, almost as fast as they brought them in, so by the end of yesterday there was still no nest. I thought "Perhaps they'll take the hint now and find somewhere safer."
Nope! Surreptitiously, the nest was re-built this morning because I was too busy elsewhere to chase pigeons. "Oh well," I thought, "I'll just have to deal with that later."
Later came. Back I went, pole in hand to deal with the new nest. There was nothing there! DW tells me that in the intervening few hours, Jackdaws arrived and stole all the twigs!0 -
Morning all:j:j
not much to report except, that I am sooooo tired all the time...
Just want to close my eyes and cat nap all the time..
Think there has/is so much going on at the mo ( not mentioned on here sorry) that my body/mind is just trying to shut down from it all..
This has happened before, when I have been sooooo stressed etc,
Its a combination of work, personal life (KIDS) And the ranch...
With the Ranch.. the weather has been so bad, money/worl situation has dramatically changed since we bought the place..etc , an as we are not living there etc, its just so easy to come home from work, sit on the sofa watch tv etc... So if we are not livng there, then its so easy for things not to get done... Ok we all know the weather has been pants, But I feel as though we have lost a year.. work wise and running backwards to try and make ends meet in general money wise...
I am seriously thinking of starting a fetish website, selling certain fetish things to try and fund our ranch renovations:cool::eek::D:rotfl::A:AWork to live= not live to work0 -

Try watching Kinky Boots for inspiration
Though I've just had a feeling of deja vu, we must have had this conversation before.
In which case did we get to the bit where you designed your ranch brand?0 -
Am I on the right thread? :eek:The kinkiest thing we have here is the hose....:D
...Oh, hang on, not THAT sort of hose!:o:o:o
Aaarrrggghh! Off to do something non-double-entendre-ish in the polytunnel. Now where's my dibber? :rotfl:0 -

Hello all! Been a bit manic here lately, not much time for computer stuff but I'm all caught up here now...Another one bites the dust
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: GOLF V ALF .......no contest
Alfie, you are probably better off without, you sound like someone who deserves a prince :A No offense to the chaps on here but some blokes - and women - OK partners in general - can be such a hinderance. I only see my DH every couple of months, suits me most of the time, he has a tendency to kill my mojo and I can get on with what I want to do! But he looks after me for which I am forever grateful. Anyway it will be different when he's back here permanently, he'll have to do things my way then!!!COOLTRIKERCHICK wrote: »Morning all:j:j

CTC - very much looking forward to WW, I'll try and track you down there, will come bearing coffee and cake!! I have had times exactly like you lately - mega tired, can't get up sometimes then spend the day hiding indoors or going off somewhere when there's loads to be done - is there something in the air robbing us of our energy? I've been thinking about yoga/meditation/something to take the mind off it all???
It is very easy to lose momentum and when weather etc gets in the way you've got more of a battle than you originally bargained for. My big veg patch is trashed, rain has washed soil away, animals got in, it's a mess - when you look from the lane anyone passing must think we're terrible people ruining what was a lovely grassy field...got a call from a company we bought a poly tunnel from asking if someone local could come and see it, I explained we hadn't been able to put it up yet - it was bought two years ago  How time flies.
Wondering what I should do with the rest of today...weather's iffy....will think about it with a cuppa... and make a list, but definitely small steps....:)0 -
CTC - forgot to say - might be onto something with the fetish type stuff, after 50 shades and all that it's got very popular
Also (bear with me) I was looking for goat hand milking 'apparatus', and found a design online I want to copy.
Basically it involves a hand operated vacuum pump and when I looked for one on the 'bay it came up for sale by a lingerie company   :rotfl:
I carried on looking and the point is it was selling for over twice the price of the exact same thing if you buy it in a kit for bleeding brake lines on motorbikes, so I think you could be onto something there, there's obviously more money kicking around for certain hobbies....:rotfl:0
