Hi peeps, hope you're all ok. Off to Skye tomorrow. Nearly finished loading the car. Had horrendous toothache which ended up having a root canal filling, I can only just eat on both sides.

Hope the weather behaves.

Lucielle hope the toothache eases soon & calms down.

Poured down most of the day. New lambs doing well. Water ponding everywhere. After the long dry spell it doesn't take long for torrential rain to mush the place up again. I bet there's flooding in places after the amount of rain that has come down in the last few days. Out little bridge was breached but held - OH made it well.

It seems really cold again - suppose it's being constantly soaked even when wearing water proofs.

DW bought a goose egg at Hatherleigh and she's decided to have it for breakfast. I didn't realise how enormous it is until I got it out of the larder.....:eek:

Nice day here too, but yesterday was OK, if you ignored the wind. Bit hard to do though!

Clear and bright here today although the sun is fading slightly as the day progresses. I have oodles of things to do indoors although I am hoping to make it out into the garden later to finally get some potatoes and shallots planted.

This weekend I am going to get my seeds planted as I have to stay around the house anyway while we are getting work done and I have to get things growing!

Alfie is being a very good matchmaker. I think we are about to do some research in to Belgian breeds this weekend..a heavy horse holds huge draw, so practical!
