Horrid day - gales & torrential rain.

AI seems common here for pigs. A guy goes round doing it......

One of my Shetlands looks like she will lamb later today/tonight. I'll eat & go back to check her.

See that David Heath now says we may have to dig for survival.

    Unbelievable!

Not that it isn't a real possibility but that a Govt minister admits it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

thats what we were think LIR, as we are novices, the thought of buying a boar in, and not being able to handle him is a really silly thing to do, Plus the walkers passing the piggy pens would be having a piggy !!!!!! show:eek::rotfl::rotfl:

Also it saves the headache of the movement paperwork etc,

choille when I was watching the weather report it looked rough up your way... hope your little lambs are ok....

    Davesnave... oooo thank you....

Alfie.... been thinking about you all day today.... hope everything is ok.

grey, horrible, rainy morning here:( ok it is warner, but still, really is dragging me down now, and other stuff too:o

Not even my cuppa is cheering me up:eek::rotfl:

I wish I could be one of those people who are allways in a happy mood, no matter what..naturally a bubbly person...

Think I need a bit of pampering, haven't had a hair cut in well over a year, so maybe I will treat myself...:D

CTC, I'll bring the pudding basin over next time :D

Seriously, I know haircuts are a pamper, for men as well, but we've saved a small fortune on mens haircuts by home cutting with an electric cutter, which we've promptly spent on cuts and blow drys for DW :rotfl::rotfl:

Unsurprisingly its grey here as well!

If it's any consolation, even sunny Mid Devon is cloudy today, and windy too, but it's 12c, which is blooming sub-tropical compared with a couple of weeks ago!

I haven't paid for a haircut in the last 33years!:D

We had a couple of warm, sunny but extremely windy days here. Now it's back to grey & it's also raining (& still windy) but tbh, I think we need the rain as the clay soil in the garden is looking like concrete ~ don't fancy trying to dig it over atm.

Our red-legged partridges have returned :j Saw 2 yesterday ~ had forgotten how chunky they are. The garden birds are busy nest-building & some are already feeding young ~ lovely to see :D

Best wishes to all day-dreamers who are struggling with stuff ~ I hope things get better :)

Shetland had twins this morning - horrid, torrential low cloud day - dreich sums it up.

I haven't been to a hairdresser for 20 years! I have long hair & OH cuts the back I cut the fringe. Wear plaits. I cut Mr Choille's with clippers - not that he has much, but he has a long beard that I trim - very ZZ top!

Boars are just another greedy thing to feed I suppose. Better & probably safer & much cheaper to do the AI.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Ctc I have just booked in for a haircut too.

It's windy and mildly cool today. I have been out without my jacket on, but would have liked it, that sort of temp. The horses, bar old horse, stayed naked over night.
