Sun come out here, but still very stormy. Pleased to discover that these twins are both females. Only had one female up until them.0 -

One day someone will explain to me in simple words why I chose to plant roses, berberis, japanese gooseberries and a long hawthorn hedge as well as having entrenched brambles.
Now what's this sign stuck to my back?
PINCUSHION?

At the moment I just feel like sleeping all the time... think things are catching up with me...
We need proper spring/summer weather now, not just the odd day or two if we are lucky...I this is going to be our regular weather pattern from now on I was constantly depressed:o:rotfl:Work to live= not live to work0 -
Last year I was really excited when a shelduck came for the spring/summer. Well.....he is BACK. I haven't seen his women folk, but he seems right at home, and not at all shy.
And as well as the regular mallards Nd coots we have we have also welcomed a tufted duck. He looks very striking. I hope he hangs around. The boys always seem braver than the girls.0 -

It could well be a dachsund, as Dave suggests.
To me it looks to have slightly longer legs than a dachsie normally has - more like a bassett hound shape but without the white patches. I'd say it's one of the hound breeds - something a bit like a Yugoslav Hound?
Of course, it could be a cross
