Hi all,

Well my chooks are finally laying been getting 2 eggs every day... a bit naff considering how many hens we got:rotfl:...

I think there are a few factors ...age..... the fox a few weeks back.....

They are a few years old now, we didnt buy/breed any new stock last year. I am in two minds to take this load to auction, and buy a whole new batch of P.O.L, Hard i know, BUT i cant keep feeding stock that are not at least contributing to their keep..(got to keep thinking of every potential penny now).

Next week i really do need to get stuff growing..Need to get back to growing and selling in the farmers auctions again. It was suprising what prices i used to get, when i timed it right, and was the first one to take veg plants to the auction..

Runner Beans and Broad Beans were a great hit with the farmers:D, and pineapple mint ( the varigated one) used to bring a few quid each for a large pot full too...( lost my mother/main plant now)

I know i am being REALLY cheeky:D but if anyone has got some spare pineapple mint i could have i would be really, really gratefull.....

I have lost touch with what is being sold plant wise at carboot sales and farm auctions etc... so if you know of any plants that are 'in' at the mo... i would love to know

hiya all...
ive just stopped and put genny on to do an oil change so thought id nip in quick whilst its running...
can someone send me a pic of pineapple mint and i can then have a look ...
ive picked up BIG dog for the weekend,done 2 tip runs, and got animog feeds on way back. just gonna do oil change then 1 last tip run for today...i can see the ground outside my big shed now !!
ive just been to look at some interesting items in the back of an old stable block. one was a big old clocking in machine but with great ornate front and big clock ,the other 2 were old wood cigarette machines [players i think] fab items and im gonna sell em on commision for the guy. [he in big house ...gates man] so will be listing this weekend. also got given 2 pairs of long kids riding boots, aigle & toggi.....away the lads !!

Pineapple mint - never heard of it before now. Sounds great. I used to have eau de cologne mint but think the frost the other year did it in - lovely smell when you used it in boiling potatoes.

I've come across two horse riding hats - one like new, t'other brown velvet but no straps at all. Would they sell do you think. The balck velvet one is more or less like new & I've googled the new price so may be cheeky and ask 20.

Alfie - the cig machines are fab - the clocking in machine not as great but they'll all sell really well specially the capstan cig machine - wouldn't mind that mesel.

Choille, its not legal to sell used riding hats apart from the nes with no padding at all.....Which people use knowing there is no safety protection iyswim.

Hats that have had opne fall in even should be bished really (:oI have a hat i have had since i was about 15 years old).
