  • I'm just reading the original thread from the beginning (again, lol) and am up to a post about saving aluminium cans. Is it still worth doing at this current moment in time?

    evening all....hope you are all well...
    im dead on my feet ! iv spent most of today fixing floor with friend at her house. weve done 95% of the lounge and hall now ...
    LOOKING GOOD :D
    she cant decide on the finish tho...lime wash it or stain it :o

    this morning i picked up a good bathroom sink [older style rectangle one] with pedestal and 2 smart shower sliding doors [but builder "folded" up the runner?? tw*t :( ]
    LIR... was it you that said you were after some strong BIG gates ?? guess what iv been "donated" ;) a pair that fit a drive way. aprox 6/7ft high and aprox 5ft width each. SOLID wood.. in VERY good condition with bolt into floor big bolt to keep one closed inside . and all fitments...:D fetching them on trailer friday..

    its spring and im a magpie and im "nesting"....:rotfl::rotfl:

    i think i will start a reclamation yard of my own.....:p

    i am also worn out from answering a whole load of "bay" watchers questions.... loads of watchers ...oven 15, hob 19 and units 38 !!! lets hope they bl**dy well buy after all this work [for my son !! bless him !]

    Omg...........i will measure gap. With the amount you offer and i am prepared to buy hold pllans for the reclamation yard, i might have to come down with a removal truck :rotfl:

    Lir has first dibs, but I think the gates will be too narrow for our yard anyway, as we have to get big baling machines & maybe a portacabin through whatever's there.

    Back to the long Johns again today, but eventually it brightened up, at about tea time.

    I'm fed up with digging around the septic tanks now, but I know it's essential before we plant anything. Some truly huge blocks/lumps of stone down there. :(

    No, I'm not accidentally demolishing the tanks. Be in the poo if I did! :rotfl:
