Oh, the reason we didn't have the Saturday Stew on Saturday was OH went over to visit his Mum in the Nursing home - by time he got home it was too late to both cook and eat the stew. :( Memory is as bad as ever - Friday evening, her first night in the NH her eldest grandaughter visited. When OH went over on Sat she'd forgotten already. Oh, and when he took her up to her room she looked around it and told him she didn't recognise the room at all. Thank goodness we have the Memory Clinic assessment coming up on the 16th. Might give us some clue as to how we progress things.

Sorry for the downer post! :o

Dont be sorry, we have a similar problem, its not nice and it can get very stressful. :(

Just paid £9.35 for 20kg of layers pellets... what's everyone else paying at the moment? This was London/Kent border at a feed barn.

    £7.99 at Countrywide for 20kg

At least my dear MiL is still "herself", ie a really nice person. My Mum turned into a complete harridan as well as regressing to 2 year old style tantrums. At least she apologised to our girls for being nasty to them, but she never did to me - guess she blamed me for not going and living with her. Still going to the bereavement counsellor over it all. :o

Rhiwy, so sorry you're going through this stuff too - it's the pits isn't it! Hugs to you and Mrs Rhiwy, and wishes that things will go as easily as possible for you with your rellie.

Hmmm. So country wide don't have country wide prices in store at least.

There has been a long running three for two on layers and corn at mine though, so at least that's good. For what it's worth I still so etimes call countrywide WMF. :o

Do you mean MVF? Apparently, our nearest Countrywide is at Taunton, which isn't exactly convenient. But we have MVF, the confusingly similar-sounding Moleavon, and Tuckers, who I predict will disappear inside a few years due to sheer old-fashioned dullness.

We have survived winter with fewer than a dozen I think. It's been a terrible year after a terrible year.

I saw a badger in the farmyard last week and thought perhaps he has been involved, but we had badgers at the last place and considerably more damage was caused by them. :(

The peacocks...the boy is still about and living with my hens, but both the hens were killed on eggs through the last year. :(.

My neighbour is pretty dispondant. They are such great neighbours, if we lose them we'd be gutted, :(
