Glad to hear you're ok Alfie :)

Half way thru my medications and I think they are beginning to work, the pain is more muted though a cough or sneeze brings on an intense headache and my hearing has been trashed :(.

Seems to be a lot of sun around as well, for once I wish for gloom and rain :rotfl::rotfl:. Looking out the windows I can see the roses will have to be pruned soon, late next week at this rate!

So sad to hear about your old boy, itsme :(

alfie, hope you're not in too much discomfort today.

Rhiw, glad to hear the meds seem to be kicking in.

We had a beautiful day yesterday, I was out doing some tidying up in the garden. This morning I've woken up to blue skies, sunshine & sleet on the cars which must have appeared overnight ~ no wonder I couldn't get warm last night!!

Can't stop 'daydreaming' ~ a big move is all I can think about right now :o

A cold and frosty morning here today :)

The dining room is progressing well and I am now turning my thoughts to art work for there are the rest of the house as the pieces we had don't really fit the new decor. We love collecting original (affordable) pieces often on our travels however we need a different type of art work this time. I would really like some more etchings as I adore them :D

We might go out and tidy up the garden a bit today although if it is bitterly cold we may just clear the rubbish and the paths which will make it look a lot better and only take a short amount of time.

Out of curiosity how many tomato plants would you grow for personal use? I am never sure how many to grow on?

It's a distance from here, so I'm not expecting to hear much on the local grapevine, but it wouldn't surprise me if there was a bit of sabotage going on.

Although our crime figures are very low, it's rumoured that a fair bit of 'alternative justice' occurs. For example, 30% of barn fires in Devon aren't accidental. :(

yep been there. for a very long time.. not only does it drive you mad, you get frustrated, angry, depressed, bitter etc.

On your journey to getting a place you will go through every emotion a million times over....

Do what I used to do, have a cuppa:D and then start thinking of how, or what you need to do to get there..

Even if that positive feeling only lasts for a few hours, in those few hours you could have earned yourself a few quid via the internet.. or save ( which in my view is the same as earning) by batch cooking, going through your food cupboards and meal plan, so you are not spending money on groceries you don't need....

I back in the same boat, so to speak, now I have my ranch, I now need to find/earn the not far off the same amount of money again to do the place up, and pay back what I have borrowed..

Think I better go and make a cuppa, and do as above:rotfl:
