Didn't really freeze here.Just debating whether to turn off the outside water. It just looks marginally cold/frosty, until Saturday at least.
But now it's sunny and drying out I still won't be able to have a bonfire, because for the next 4 days the wind is likely to drive any smoke straight towards the barn conversions.0 -
the raods are REALLY bad around here, only now the gritters are out, a bit late for peeps that were going to work.... quite a few bumps and cars in ditches around here:eek::eek:Work to live= not live to work0

Happy choille day!
I AM hoping to have a small bonfire still. It might just be a symbolic section of hay though!
It's beautiful here, cold but not as cold as I expected (warmer than parts of the hopuse were last winter!).0 -
Brr! My feet are freezing in the caravan but it's a beautiful morning here.0

HAPPY CHOILLE DAY!
It'll have to be a candle for me rather than a bonfire, as we don't have anywhere suitable now to burn stuff.
It's been nothing but a day of rows here so far, I should have gone to work where there would have been what I class as a normal level of aggro - rows don't happen here often so when they do I'm much more :mad::mad: than at work where I can't shout and lose my temper.
What a waste of a day. We were going to go out but DH isn't up to it.

We have snow coming down again ~ it's like Narnia here!!'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -
Alex....poor you both. This time of year often has people spoiling for a fight....promise of festive time off over, colder, still a bit gloomy, and often a tight couple of months for bills too.
Worse when you don't argue a lot, because the world tips on its axis a little. Try and do somethiong nice for each other, huh?0
