Would really, really like a bath now though. My local friends keep inviting me round and offering me bathrooms, sadly, I have felt to grim most of summer to take advantage of such offers but I see that time coming when I am going to give in and turn up on someone's doorstep with a towel and a bathroom bag , a scented candle, and a bottle of wine..........and some flowers for them.:D
you can use my barf anytime....bit of a trek but i have candles, wine and flu flu's....:)

Alfie, give Mabel my best this morning.
I am getting ready to go and look and puppies. I told dh on the phone last night and promised I would not put a deposit on one without him meeting it
'oh no' he said ' you buy one. You got dog dog without me meeting her and I could not love her more, and I don't want to risk losing a puppy that picks you and having a second choice from the litter'.
We have a name for this one planned (have been planning OT for years and years and years, this was the dog we were going to get when I was given dog dog) so I wonder if I am meeting ours today or just going to see cute puppies.0 -
Injoy yourself LIR with the puppies......and follow your heart, not your head;):D:rotfl:

(((((hugs))))))to Mabel.
Let's hope it was a temporary thing and she's up for doughnuts today.
Yes, we lost one of our cats like that a few months back. She followed one of us into the garage when we went to the freezer and found herself locked-in for hours. Luckily, she has a cast iron bladder!
Hope choille is bearing-up too. :grouphug:

Just come back from the ranch, had the council rates people out again for further 6 months free rates.
Didnt our Rozee mention something about houses being council tax exempt if they are totally gutted????
As this is going to be a long term project, it dosent seem right to pay council tax on an empty shell
Right E.bay here I come.... lets see how many I can list todayWork to live= not live to work0 -

They have to be confirmed as Uninhabitable. There can be no way of cooking (e.g. no cooker point), no usable loo etc. The actual criteria may differ from Council to Council.
Wait until you have your annexe & they charge it as your 2nd home :mad:0 -

CTC... i had a word with my friend this morning who has internal doors in / off her kitchen like you wanted [plank and Z backed with latches} and she paid aprox £100 each for hers and they are really good looking ones !! she said in her other house she had them handmade and cost her £200. also the wood windows she had replaced came from same place as doors [£100 ones] and they were very good value....
all i can say if its good enough for her standardsthey must be good as she could buy aaaaanything ! she is looking up the company via her builders for me.:D at least you can compare then ??
mabel is grumpy but a BIT better. she ate her breakfast but wouldnt come out of her house... it is about 3ft deep around her in hay tho, so nice and snug ...:D
i sooooo want to meet this ere puppy ! im sure i may have to deliver something up to those parts real soon...;):D0 -
I'm expecting some VIPs this afternoon, so what does it do? That's right, it pees down and it's grey! It was sunny in the morning.
I'm always telling you how sunny it is here, so that'll be my credibility shot to ribbons.....:o:o:o
Glad Mabel is a bit better. Perhaps a pedicure would encourage her to use her trotters a bit more? Just a thought.0
