They're a fruit. (Got seeds inside.)
Mine are turning red, or in the case of the chocolate ones, sort of brownish. Trouble is, some of my plants labelled as Jalapenos are definitely just sweet peppers. I must've been bewildered too.
Above is a picture of the stream/ditch I'm clearing to make a home for our ferns, hydrangeas, rheums and other things that like it damp & shady. We're moving the fence posts back to make more room, as no decent grass grows here. It's the only place where we can easily create an environment they'll enjoy.0 -
Well I have 13 items listed:D,( business account) some on BIN and some auction..
Davesnave, LIR, why dont you both set yourselves a target of listing 1 item a week, just to try selling?

Hmm. Recommend them the day they go to the big freezer in the sky ctc, then i will believe it! I just know i would find pigs very, very hard at the end.
I should list something. I have never done it, and i am little scared i will get something wrong. I also have to work out how much it would cost to courier a small table in case someone far away wants to buy it. These all seem like impossible questions to fathom atm. (i spent quarter opf an hour today wondering whether to runa pre wash, a normal wash or a short wash on the washing machine. My heads still not all there.
We are losing a client in autumn, i know ots beeon the cards for a while, the owner has moved to oxfordshire and did not want to take the horse but obviously needs it closer. Meanwhile i had hoped to gain one, but the owner might be more trouble than they are worth. Its a rehab, so more interesting and rewarding for me, but its a rehab for a reason. I know its an issue we have a good chance of fixing, with my foot person and me, but ......0 -

Yes, I really wanted more of this type of habitat, but the part where the stream comes through the hedge onto our side is almost all we have. It's about 45m long. The ferns in the picture are all wild, though we'll be planting others.
Some years ago, we were friendly with an elderly gentleman who'd created a kind of Himalayan valley in his land near Devizes. I suppose it covered about 4 or 5 acres. I was encouraged to 'pinch' lots of cuttings whilst visiting and we still have about half of the plants I managed to root. It would be nice to give them a proper home at last.0 -
 It's me, Itsme
I've just popped in to let you know I'm still in the land of the living.
Too tired tonight for a long post but will reply (including by PM to those that were concerned enough to actually write to me, bless 'em ) in the next few days.
Meanwhile, I hope everyone's well & happy.0
