Seriously? Nf plots are really expensive. Crazy, crazy prices. We looked at a couple before our borrowabilty reduced. One t'otherside of the forest not half as nice a spot as alfies....3/4 million, five acres. Did have income though (camping and caravanning sites are popular, but alfie probably values her privacy too much, and it limits animal use!another, was not much less, simialr land, under a pylon, and no accompdation, and planning rpu d there, even under a pylon, would be hard. Which is crazy, as they have little mini gods waiting rooms tucked away.

I would love to live near alfie, a bit more north, but in the forest. We would just never afford it i don't think. Maybe when we have finished the wreck we could consider getting a valuation and seeing what we could do.....put it will not be a credit crunch then and forest property will probably be .....gold played.

    So much of a
Fies life is connected to the forest too. Lots of us have been able to move for the lifestyle, alfie HAS the lifestyle, and moving too far would diminish it.

Cannot you hook up with some old geezer with grazing rights alf? :)

Well, ues, thats why i thought you too might be able to look at it. You are both artsy and good with your hands.

Lots of the british ones look meancompared to the nice fat american ones.

I do mine, alfie has seen. They are very. 'amateur'. To put it kindly!

My door is empty atm, and feels bare. I love stuff on the door.:o

Glad your hens fine too Dave. I hope it remains so.

The price of that wreath seems rather steep considering it's plastic?

I don't think you need you need Planning for a tepee, but depends on area.
But could be classed as residential so probably would in some areas. One area they have put rollers on them so they are then classified as a caravan.
Another area demanded PP for a kids climbing frame!!!!! What jobsworth eejit was that?

im thinking of just an acre or so purely for the animogs...horses are secure at friends. i would stick a shed ;) in corner and have a veggie plot etc...then if i have to move to a less normal to me house i would still have my likkle piece of england to disapear to....:D wishfull but not impossible dream...??

p.s. if it wasnt for expenses/house bills etc i would have raised £2k in the last 4/5 months on the bay so if i pull my reins in it could be poss

I'm up for that challenge as I'm sic of caravan living & sic of living in a mess where I can't find owt. Feel I'm going backwards.

Eventually got weder down & across to be with Zebedee - decided against Bejamin Zephaniar - the dreadlocks inspired that name - so it's Zebedee.
What a carry on - Mr Choille ended up on his back in the middle of the road in agony.

Our neighbour's collie had vanished but had mysteriously appeared back at lunchtime so that was brought into play & saved a lot of running up & down the hill - It's a steep hill & me Shetland weder decided he was running up to the blubby top & no way was he gonna live with a big, black ram.

Funny do with the collie as neighbour reckons it came back cleaner than when it disappeared, but starving. It's such a cracking dog he thinks someone nicked it & it's made its way back. Whatever - it's a mystery.

    Jiggered & just eaten.

Getting some windas in tomoorrow, gettin some windas in tomorrow, getting some windas in tomorrow..............
